Just a word from me, PixelBoot with regards to the Pixel 2 PixelExperience 12 development.
As most of you may know, for this iteration in the PixelExperience support, we are required to repartition to fit most Google apps into the system partition

Because of this, in this process of testing, I opted in for a rollout done in waves.
For the time being, the eligible device is the Pixel 2XL, due to having a physical device to test on, and can confirm that everything works safely as according.

1st Wave:
Google Pixel 2XL - 128GB models (taimen)

2nd Wave:
Google Pixel 2XL - 64GB models (taimen)

3rd Wave:
Google Pixel 2 - 64GB models (walleye)

4th Wave:
Google Pixel 2 - 128GB models (walleye)

I appreciate everyone's patience, but I figured that this way is the best approach moving forward.

Okay, just a word from me.
I am satisfied from of your participation throughout the unofficial reparition release of PixelExperience 12.
However, at this point in time, there is a fundamental issue with regards to the reboot issue.
I have just booted my taimen after 4 reboots, and I am experiencing this.
I shall not allow this random factor to occur on the official build, so I'll investigate this even further whenever I can.
I appreciate all your help and feedback, but this ROM isn't daily driver material as of yet.

Small update for those who participated by flashing reparted PixelExperience 12:

Thanks for your contribution and feedback.
The result I expected was different from which actually occurred.
This is no sort of alarm by any means, I want to reassure you that your devices are safe regardless of the situation.
The build was taken down due to the bootlooping after a reboot.
Hence I thought it was a better idea not to tamper with the system_a and system_b partitions.
For future notice, it is best if you revert to the stock table before you flash any future PixelExperience 12 ROM.
This is due to me handling this situation with a different approach!
It is simple to get back to the stock partition table, just flash the zip respective to your device model, that being Pixel 2XL (64GB) or Pixel 2XL (128GB).
I have in mind a means of reparting which satisfies both walleye and taimen's requirements without tampering with system partitions, so stay tuned for those!
In the meantime, if you prefer, enroll your devices to stock partition tables with the given zip files!

Small update after trying out new partition table with PixelExperience 12:

After a huge boost in motivation, I tried the new partition table without tampering with system partitions.
I can confirm that the issue still persists.
So to all those who tried out the previous ROM of PixelExperience 12, do not worry, the issue caused isn't by the repartition, your device is safe.
The issue must persist from the ROM as a form of bug.
I'll be looking into this closer, but stay tuned!
