🤖 Android 15 is finally out for Pixel devices.

A month and a half after its release in AOSP, Google has finally released the Android 15 update for supported Pixel devices (6 and newer). This version of the OS includes the following new features:

• Private space
• App archiving
• Predictive back gesture animation for supported apps (now enabled by default)
• Saving app pairs
• Ability to pin the taskbar on tablets
• Updated Volume panel
• Dynamic color contrast settings
• Automatically turn Bluetooth on the next day
• New smart home control screensaver
• Updated wallpaper setup menu
• Improvements to the preview of widgets in the list

And many other under-the-hood changes. By the way, don't forget to check out the modernized Android easter egg along with a special Landroid screensaver.

Along with Android 15, Google also released a new Pixel Feature Drop which we will talk about in the next posts.

🤖 The third beta of Android 15 QPR1 has been released.

As a reminder, this is a beta test of the first quarterly update (QPR1*) for Android 15, which will be released this December for devices starting with the Pixel 6 and newer.

Top fixed Issues:

• Fixed an issue that sometimes caused notifications to be displayed with some content that was cut off.
• Fixed an issue with system memory paging that sometimes caused devices to crash and restart.
• Fixed an issue where the volume buttons didn't work when connected to certain Bluetooth devices.
• Fixed an issue where some app icons on the home screen were displaying the default system icon instead of the app's icon.
• Fixed an issue that caused a device to run slowly and sometimes crash when switching back to the primary user from the secondary user.
• Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the system UI to crash.
• Fixed an issue for foldable devices where the screen sometimes went blank when unfolding the device.

Other resolved issues:
• Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented users from interacting with heads-up notifications.

## 🚨 SCAM ALERT! 🚨 Fake Play Integrity Fixes That Can Brick Your Phone!

Hey everyone, pay attention! Play integrity issues are common these days, but the solutions are usually easy. Unfortunately, some people are exploiting this with fake "fixes" that actually contain dangerous code designed to ruin your phone!

This is what happened to me:

Last night, a user with the ID 7402776516 messaged me about a "PIF fork module" that supposedly fixes play integrity issues. I was tired and didn't think twice, so I agreed to use it later.

When I looked at the module's code this morning, I was horrified! It contained malicious code that could completely destroy my phone.

Thankfully, I recognized the danger and didn't proceed. But many people wouldn't be so lucky.

Here's what you need to know:

• Never download modules from unknown sources or shady websites.
• Only trust official release channels or reputable developers.
• Be wary of unsolicited messages about "play integrity fixes," especially those from unfamiliar users.
• If you're unsure about anything, ask a tech-savvy friend for help.

Remember: Your phone is valuable. Don't let anyone trick you into ruining it!

Alright lads, I'm back with another Magisk module that I need some beta testing on! I've been developing and testing on raven (Pixel 6 Pro), and I've already had great success with a cheetah (Pixel 7 Pro) tester. I've got a new husky (Pixel 8 Pro) tester and I need more from the 6 series to the 9 series!

What it should do:
- Everything should be faster, without poorly affecting temperatures or battery. Screen on time and battery idle time has actually drastically improved in our testing!

Conditions:
- Magisk is required. No ifs, ands or buts about it, KSU and other solutions simply lack the required frameworks to patch init services.
- Pixel 6, 7, 8, or 9 series, or 1st gen Tablet or Fold
- Android 15 stable (no QPR betas) with no derivatives from stock device tree layouts (i.e. hentaiOS/helluvaOS, Google stock, StatiXOS, LineageOS, etc), preferably hentaiOS
- The capability to read the entirety of the README, and satisfy all of your questions before daring to install, let alone reinstall or uninstall it. I will laugh at you if you choose not to ask questions and continue haphazardly instead.
