Pixel 6 let you disable 2G connectivity for more security, thanks to Titan M2 chip
With the new Google Tensor chip, Pixel 6 is much more secure, thanks to Titan M2 chip. Google today released a blog post, written that you can also disable 2G connectivity on the device to get more protected.
Android 12 introduces tons of privacy stuff, like Privacy Dashboard and camera/microphone toggle. On your Pixel 6, go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIM. Sometimes you may meet emergency situation and might need 2G to communicate in places that have poor connection, then this will be the only exception senario.
I don't know but to be honest, I don't really see anyone having their phone got hacked by 2G or what. Anyway, it a stuff that Google introduced with Pixel 6. (9To5Google)

Security Hub is starting to appear on older Pixel phones running Android 12
With the announcement of Pixel 6, Google introduced something called Security Hub, which gather all security settings in one place and remind you whether there something that can improve to get more security protection or not. And now, older Pixel are starting to see the interface of it.
It is appearing in the main page of the phone settings for some people on older Pixel devices running Android 12. It is much more straight forward and user friendly, which will be useful for the elderly for example.
The rollout is server side and earlier you may have received automatic updates for the app via Play Store. (9To5Google)

Kids under age of 18 can request for pictures removal on Google Search
Google is allowing people under the age of 18 to remove any photos of themselves from Google Search thumbnails and Google Images. Your parents, guardians or authorized representative can also help you request to remove too.
To remove the images showing up in Google Search, you can fill in the form in Google support page. It is important to know that Google can't control the whole Internet, which means the original image appeared from other website, Google can't do anything else other than removing it from Google Search results.
To remove that specific photo from the Internet, you'll need to contact that site's webmaster. Google also says it may "provide details to the webmaster(s) of the URLs that have been removed from our search results" after processing your request. (Google Blog)

Google explains more about on how their Pixel 6 camera works
Google Blog
Earlier Google has explained what their first ever chipset Google Tensor is capable of, and a week later Google released another blog post explaining in details on how their Pixel 6 camera works.
Google claims they have great video performance "that look as good as photos." Live HDR+ Video is made possible by Tensor’s Image Signal Processor (ISP), and also work in popular social media apps. If you have seen the full review of some creators' video, then you may notice they are complaining about the video. Anyway it probably addressed in a recent update that Google release for the Pixel 6.
The new Pixel 6 can capture more 2.5x.of light than Pixel 5 thanks to a bigger sensor, which means sharper Night Sight photos. Real Tone can take pictures of a people's skin tone more accurately. Google Photos editor tool has also improved in this section. Face Unblur take photos of a people face without blur even when they are moving. Take creative photos with the new Motion mode, which can acheive some features thst are being exclusive for DSLR camera for years.
The Pixel 6 Pro includes a 4x optical telephoto lens, with Super Res Zoom and HDR+ Bracketing, you can take a much sharper photo at that zoom level. The maximum you can go for is 20x, but that looks like half-baked product. When taking selfies, your face won't feel too big in the final image thanks to the wide angle selfie camera, and you can fit more people into the image without extra tools.
Lastly, Magic Eraser in Google Photos editor. It is really a magic tool, which can remove anything you don't want by rubbing over the surface. The feature works on the device and doesn't require any Internet connection to use it. Here an example of the usage of Magic Eraser (lol).
For much more details on how these feature works and camera sample, check it out by using the link above or read via Instant View on mobile.

Tablets, foldables and Chromebooks will get better experience on the Play Store
YouTube Video
Android 12L tend to bring optimisation for larger screen devices. Google is really focusing on doing it recently and the Play Store is set to get some improvements to better fit with larger screen devices like tablets, foldables and Chromebooks.
In one of the keynote video, a representative briefly mentions about the Play Store changes. She said Play Store will be separating out ratings and
reviews, which means you will only get to see reviews on the same categories of device like yours, for example you are using tablet to view the reviews, you will only see tablet/foldable/Chromebook users' review for example.
Next, she said, the Play Store team are going to look for input support in other features for large screens, this will provide the best experience for larger screen devices. Probably it means developers have to upload tablet-sized app screenshot so that this shows what the app looks like when using it on a tablet.
The representative said more info will be discussed at the first quarter of 2022. (XDA Developers)

Compatibility Mode coming to Chrome OS for unoptimized Android apps
YouTube Video
For years, Chrome OS allow users to use Android apps from Play Store. It definitely a nice addition, but some apps just doesn't seem to work well with it. Now, Google will be improving the experience when using unoptimized apps.
In one of the keynote video, a representative revealed a new feature that is coming to Chrome OS. Compatibility Mode will be available for Android apps, which adds a new button in the center of Android app windows. It lets you change between phone layout, tablet layout, or a resizable window easily.
The representative said it is now available, but it doesn't seem the feature has started rolling out widely to most people. That said, developers can avoid the Compatibility Mode if they optimise their apps for large screens with proper mouse and keyboard support.
The new feature is part of Google’s efforts to improve Android apps on foldables, tablets, and Chrome OS devices, like the newly announced Android 12L which includes better support for large screen devices. (XDA Developers)

Android 12L Developer Preview 1 in action
Android 12L tends to bring better optimisation for large screen devices. Here are some of the early preview with the first Android 12L build. People at 9To5Google adjust the screen size to match Galaxy Z Fold 3, giving us a early preview of how it will look as it is one of the first device to receive the new update.
One of the new changes is the quick settings panel placed on the left and notification center is on the right, it is working on the Fold 3's landscape display for now. The recent app screen shows one app in large view with a new “Split” shortcut underneath, the rest is shown as two columns in a smaller view.
The taskbar in Android 12L make it possible to open app in split screen by dragging the app to one of the screen side without leaving the current app. App pairs are live too, which allow you to instantly launch two apps at the same time.
Android 12L will make it release by Q1 2022 and beta release for Pixel in December. (9To5Google)
