The UWB-related APIs that appeared in Android 12 are currently not open to third-party applications yet. It is likely that the technology has not kept up with the release progress of Android 12 due to technical problems.
However, related code changes have begun to appear in AOSP. In addition to the support of the Pixel 6 series, it is expected to appear in Android T.
