At a Glance can shows your connected Bluetooth devices
r/GooglePixel
Google has prepared a major upgrade for At a Glance on Android 12, they have started to roll out a few of them earlier and soon you can also check your connected Bluetooth accessories info from the widget too.
With this feature, you can instantly check the battery percentage and connection status of your Bluetooth accessories like earphones, speakers and more. You could check if the feature has gone live for you by going to the Home settings, then At A Glance. If you saw the Connected devices option, that means you have received the feature.
This change isn't widely rolled out for now, and the guy who reported said they received it but only for a while. In case you missed it, Google announced the feature with the March Feature Drop update.

At a Glance can help you to stay safe soon
9to5Google
Earlier it is discovered Google is starting to roll out Bluetooth connected devices info on At a Glance for more users, and now the company is enabling "Earthquake alert" and "Safety check" for some users.
If you have Safety check enabled in the Personal Safety app, you'll be able to see the countdown in the widget directly. Also when an earthquake with magnitude 4.5 or higher is detected somewhere near in your area, you'll also get a reminder of it in the widget.
These features are randomly appearing for Pixel users, despite being updated to the latest April security patch and Android system intelligence app (S14).

Google app for iOS gains Notifications tab to show all your followed topics in one place
9to5Google
Recently, the Google for iOS app is getting something new to let you visit all your current following topics in a single page.
Currently, most users are only seeing Home, Collections and Tabs in the bottom bar of the application. Some users are reporting they are seeing a new "Notifications" option and Google hinted to "tap the bell as you search to get updates on the things you care about."
When searching inside the Google app, you will see Knowledge Panels with a bell-icon on the top-right corner. Google also mentioned "notifications are only available for some trending topics, like people, places, or things.” The addition of the "Notifications" tab let users easily return to check all this information, even after forgetting about it.
It isn't widely rolled out as of now. It would be nice if the Android app could get something similar.

Google Phone brings Material You element to the dial pad
9to5Google
The dialer app by Google is picking up more Material You elements and this time it is arriving on the dial pad.
This was actually first spotted back in February, but has only started to roll out recently. The number buttons are pill-shaped when untouched, and will turn rectangular when you tap on it. You could also find something similar over on the Calculator app and the lock screen PIN pad on Android 12.
Minor change but a nice little touch. The redesign dial pad is currently available for most users on v78 and it is also rolling out to non-Pixel devices too.

Google Workspace Updates
A lot of products seem to be gaining emoji reaction these days, and Google Docs is one of the latest product to get such feature.
You can already comment and suggest edits on a document, soon Google will be upping the game and letting users leave emoji reactions, which will better highlight and express opinions. Google Meet will be also getting reactions too and the company promised to roll out by the end of April.
The emoji set used is the latest Emoji 14.0, which means you won't be missing out on any emoji options. Emoji preferences like skin tone and gender will be shared across other Google services, like Google Chat for example.
This feature will be rolling out over the coming month and is only available for selected Workspace tiers.
