Google Pixel 6 will get up to 23W wireless charging speed with the new Pixel Stand
So earlier there a rumor that the new Pixel Stand comes with fan to cool down the device, also tip that new Pixel might support higher wattage of wireless charging.

So Max Weinbach at Android Police reported that he had get a source from a US retailer, it written "Google Pixel 23W Stand", which likely tip that the new Pixel 6 is coming with 23W wireless charging support. (Android Police)

Google Play Store gain Material You redesign
Google has been working on Material You redesign for its apps, and now it reached Play Store. Currently this is hidden and not rolled out to anyone yet.

What's New:
• Pill shaped search bar (with Material You element)
• Redesign bottom toolbar (with Material You element)
• Added Google Play Store feedback (to help improve Play Store experience)
• High level tick box to select everything in Manage tab

Chrome for Android added "quote cards" feature to share text as beautiful image
Chrome has been adding more and more useful tools in the past few months. Screenshot editor, Reading List, Create QR Code... you name it.

There a new Chrome flag named "WebNotes Stylise", which give you the abilities to create beautiful card with the text you want to share. This is cool for those users who wanted to share it on their social media. (9To5Google)

Pixel 6 series launching on October 28th
Earlier someone on Weibo leaked that Pixel 6 launch event is coming earlier than iPhone 13. Another well known leaker, Jon Prosser, said that Pixel 6 would be launching on October 28th.

Pre-order starting at October 19th, launching at October 28th. Launch event probably will be held on the pre-order day. (Front Page Tech)

Pixel 3 bricked for getting stuck in EDL mode
Recently more and more people have been reporting issue on their Pixel 3, like randomly shut down and lock devices without any reason.

Some Pixel 3 users reported that they got total shutdown after a minor security monthly update, some says it popup of nowhere. All these issues seem to be reported from Android 11 build.

When the device is plug in, they got indicated that the device is in Emergency Download (EDL) mode. Users should be able to get out from it with standard power cycle but users reported that it just boot back to EDL again. Read more here. (Android Police)

Google Doodle celebrates school reopening for first day in 2021 around the world
After being stuck at home learning for almost 2 years, students in some countries are able to return back to their school environment and study. And Google is here to celebrate the opening of school.

Beside featuring the pencil sketch of Google logo, some classic learning related glyph (drawing) are there too, like Maths calculation, Biology, sports stuff, Art and many more.

This Google Doodle is visible to people who are in Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, Slovenia, Belgium, Vietnam, Poland, Luxembourg, Israel, Latvia, Estonia, and the United Kingdom. (9To5Google)

Google Photos has been recently pushing many type of albums to recall photo memories. Now Google has added a new auto-generated album, named "Best of Summer 2021".

Google building custom processor for upcoming Chrome OS devices, also confident with Pixel 6 sales
Google is starting to build its own custom processor to be on par with Apple. Their first home made chipset, Tensor will be featured on their Pixel 6.

Nikkei Asia reported that Google is working on custom processors for devices running Chrome OS, expecting to launch in 2023. Build based on ARM designs, suggesting we will be seeing Arm Cortex CPUs and probably Mali GPUs.

Google is also "ramping up efforts" to build processor for its Pixel and other device. Yeah, the outlet claims that Google asked suppliers to prepare 50% more production capacity for the Pixel 6 series compared to their 2019’s devices. (Android Authority)

Google Messages get redesign attachment picker
Earlier Google rolled out new emoji, GIF and sticker picker in the Messages app. And now Google start to roll out new attachment menu.

Tapping the "Plus" icon previously shows you scrollable list of section. New changes will now show grid options and it will expand and take up more page as you scroll up. (9To5Google)

Disable explicit search results is way simpler with the new Google App beta update
Google SafeSearch, is an option which filter out explicit content in search results. Google is making it easier to access the toggle with new update of the Google App.

You will see a new option called "Hide explicit result. Tap on it and you will see toggle to turn on/off Explicit results filter and a brief denoscription.

Using GIF in Google Chat on the web used to be a pain, but now you can easily send GIF with built in GIF search.

Google currently have added Tenor GIF search so you can find GIF instantly. User can use it by clicking on the GIF icon beside the chat box. (Google Workspace Blog)
