Google improved "Collections" tab in their app
In Google search, there a bookmarking feature which Google named it "Collections". Google is starting to roll out redesign of Collections page in the app, making it more useful.
First, you will see “Quick access” carousel which shows “Recently saved” places and shows/movies, also “Frequently visited” pages. There an "Edit" button which you can delete entries. “Shows & movies” show you media that you recently check out. You can check out more by pressing the button below. Following up is "Collections", but it almost being abandon, anyway you can still access it.
Next on the list is "Shopping" which show you product you have been tracking (price drops). There a "Quick researching" carousel which displays product categories. Last one would be "Recipes" section which show you cookbooks. (9To5Google)

Doodle Champion Island Games come to an end as Paralympic closing
It cool to see that Google celebrates Olympics in such way, by creating mini-games and let everyone have fun too. Things always to come an end and since it the last day of Paralympics on 5 Sep, Champion Island Games is ending too.
Google quoted: "Thanks to all the players around the world that came together to compete in the Doodle Champion Island Games and made HISS-tory in the process!"
There might be more stuff coming in upcoming Olympics game events, as Google themselves tipped: "Who knows what adventure awaits Lucky next? Only time will tell..."

Took us approximate 45 days 16 hours to reach our first major milestone, thanks everyone. 100 people is a lot (a normal bus couldn't even fit this much people).
Besides providing English only content about Google Pixel, we cover stuff that are related to Google too. Google Apps update, Doodle, Workspace, etc.
Might open discussion group soon in a few weeks time, stay tuned (literally anxious now when I could see some well known people joining in, damn XD).
Anyway thanks for joining since you find it valuable, share it out to more people that are interested in it so they will find it useful & helpful :)

A small bit of detail. New memories album rolling out by Google, name Like royalty.
Pictures that consist of building that are owned by royalty would featured in this album. Since it AI powered, it could be wrong sometimes as the writer point out that one of the picture featured in it is paying homage to this type of home. (9To5Google)

September 2021 Security Patch rolling out!

Google Meet adding support for 1:1 calls without links [1/2]
As Hangout deprecating, many of its feature has been killed by Google. And Google is kinda restoring the video call capability without "generating a link".
Currently, a new meet call will generate a random link and you are required to share it to the person you want to meet with. Soon, there will be support to open direct Google Meet calling. In Google Chat, you’ll get a “video” button to directly start a call.
It will be rolling out “soon” for one-to-one chats in Gmail & Chat Android app. It will possibly come to Workspace account in the near future. (9To5Google)

Google Meet will be getting ‘Companion Mode’ (Update) [2/2]
Google is preparing for something big for Google Meet, it is getting "Companion Mode" which is a second-screen experience to make hybrid meetings more equitable.
What it can do is that you can use one device for the audio or video source and another computer for viewing what is being presented on the screen, respond or create polls/Q&A, send/view chat messages and access Jamboard. You will be also able to share/mirror your screen from the second device.
Also live-translated captions is coming alongside with the release of the Companion Mode, it will support English to French, German, Spanish and Portuguese, more languages will be coming soon in the near future.
It will be available in September on the web version and coming soon to mobile. (9To5Google)

Spaces in Chat & Gmail rolling out
Google back in June announced that "Rooms" will be rebranded to "Spaces" with more features. For now, the new naming is starting to rolling out in more places.
In the new Material You revamp of the Gmail app, we have already seen the third tab in the bottom toolbar have been renamed. Gmail for iOS is also getting the changes. For the web version, likely it will be rolling out in the near future.
Nothing has been added/changed for now in the functionality, we could see that coming out in the next few months. Stay tuned for that. (9To5Google)

For people who use game controller to play mobile games, some of you might notice issues when playing it on Android 11. A good news is that Google has fixed it in Android 12.
In Google Issue Tracker, an employee has mentioned that it is fixed in Android 12 release, currently patch have been applied to the Beta 4 release. (9To5Google)
