Pixel 8 Pro renders have been leaked
Source
OnLeaks and SmartPrix have shared renders of a Pixel 8 Pro which is more rounded compared to previous models and now features a flat display panel.
There's a 6.7 inch display with a center placed hole punch. Its size measures at 162.6 × 76.5 × 8.7mm and is about 12mm thick with the camera bump.
The camera bump has gotten some changes: all three lenses are now under one piece of glass and there's a new sensor under the flash. It could be a depth sensor, laser autofocus, LiDAR or something else.

Oops! Small correction:
OnLeaks, the leaker of the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro renders has announced that the displays aren't 5.8 and 6.52 inches wide respectively.
The displays are actually:
• Pixel 8 - about 6.2"
• Pixel 8 Pro - about 6.7"
The rest of the measurements are accurate. We have fixed the posts for the mistake.

Google Workplace gain new AI-powered features
Source
Google has announced a few new features coming to Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Meet, and Chat.
Using AI, you'll be able to:
• write a draft, reply, summarize, and polish your Gmail emails
• brainstorm, proofread, write, and rewrite in Docs
• make a presentation and auto-generate images, audio, and video in Slides
• go from raw data to insights and analysis via auto completion, formula generation, and contextual categorization in Sheets
• generate new backgrounds and capture notes in Meet
• enable workflows for getting things done in Chat
For example on Gmail, you can type a topic you want, and you'll get a draft that you can refine and edit with suggestions. Afterwards, you can make it sound formal, shorten/elaborate, or if you're feeling lucky have AI make it more fun.
These features will roll out to trusted testers in the United States this month.

Remote Code Execution exploits found in Exynos modems, including ones in Pixel 6 and 7
Project Zero
Google's Project Zero team have discovered eighteen 0-day vulnerabilities in Exynos modems. Four of them allow for internet-to-baseband remote code execution with just a phone number and no user interaction.
The other vulnerabilities require a malicious mobile network operator or an attacker with local access to the device.
The chipsets affected are Exynos Modem 5123, Exynos Modem 5300, Exynos 980, Exynos 1080, and Exynos Auto T5123.
The following devices have the affected chips:
• Samsung S22, M33, M13, M12, A71, A53, A33, A21, A13, A12 and A04 series
• Vivo S16, S15, S6, X70, X60, and X30 series
• Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series
• Wearable devices with the Exynos W920 chipset
• Vehicles with the Exynos Auto T5123 chipset
Affected Pixel devices have the fix in the March 2023 update, and it's advised to disable Vo-LTE and VoWiFi until the devices get the update.

A vulnerability in Pixel's Markup tool lets you recover the original photo from an edited screenshot
Source
Twitter users @ItsSimonsTime and @David3141593 have discovered a critical flaw in Google's screenshot editing tool, Markup.
Screenshots edited before March can be partially recovered to see how the unedited photo looked like to reveal sensitive information.
The exploit only works with the original PNG files, with apps like Discord or Instagram being affected as many convert your photos to JPG.
The issue affects Pixel devices and Custom ROMs with the Markup tool running Android 10 or newer.
It has been fixed with the March security patch update and you can check if your screenshots work using https://acropalypse.app

Google Photos is set to gain new video editing features, including Video Unblur and Video Overlay
Source
The 9To5Google team has managed to enable two new features in Google Photos that might release in the future.
Video Unblur will allow users to sharpen videos using a machine learning-powered slider, similar to the existing Photo Unblur feature on Pixel 7. However, the feature is currently under development and does not have a noticeable effect on videos.
Meanwhile, Video Overlay will let users apply various effects to their videos, with 14 options available, including B&W, Chromatic, and VHS. However, these effects are not yet functional.
It is unclear when these features will be released, but we think it may launch for Pixel 8 devices.
