Google and Apple work together to combat unwanted tracking from item trackers
9To5Mac | Google Security Blog
Apple has partnered with Google to create a draft specification that will alert users about unwanted tracking by Bluetooth item trackers, including Apple's AirTags (and the future Nest Locator Tag).
The technology will allow Bluetooth location-tracking devices to be compatible with unauthorized tracking detection and alerts across iOS and Android.
The specification has been submitted as an Internet-Draft via the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), with companies such as Samsung, Tile, Chipolo, Eufy, and Pebblebee having interest in supporting the technology.
A production implementation of the specification for unwanted tracking alerts is planned to be released by the end of 2023, and will be supported in in future versions of iOS and Android.

Signing in Google Account without password is now a reality
Google Blog
While signing in any of your accounts, you are usually required to enter your password to make sure that's really you. This might feel annoying as you do it multiple times, but Google's next attempt to deal with this problem is by removing the process of doing so, that means no more entering password for signing in soon.
Just like how you can unlock your phone these days, you can use your PIN, fingerprint or face to sign in. If your device is lost or any suspicious activity happened with your account, you can revoke the specific passkey from your account settings.
Google Account passkeys feature is supported on major platforms and browsers. Existing sign-in methods still work for old platforms if needed, and you can add the passkey to your account via this link to ease the process if interested.
