Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides Material You redesign rolling out
More and more Google Workspaces applications are getting the Material You redesign, next on the list is Google Docs, Sheet, Slides.

Nothing much fun has gone into here, on the main page similar design to other apps, pill shaped search bar and rounded square "+" simple button. In documents, if you have noticed Google's screenshot preview for it, there are minor modifications to it too. When selecting text, you get the rounded popup menu. Also it has grey tone of menu instead of being just white.

Redesign is gradually rolling out to everyone, if you haven't received yet, it will probably take a few days to reach, depend on your luck. (Android Police)

Chrome will show you what the site you are visiting is about
Wondering what this site do? A recent added Chrome feature will solve your problem.

This feature is borrowed from Microsoft Edge which is on Canary, and Google later added it into their own Canary build. Reddit user Leopeva64-2 spotted this change and share everything about it. There a flag #page-info-about-this-site in Chrome Canary, but doesn't seem to work on it for now.

Meanwhile on Microsoft Edge we can have a look on how this will work. It will show a bit of contextual info on the site's history and purpose. Also it is showing who the site founders, their social media and language availability. This is fetch from the search result so it is a cool addition anyway. (Android Police)
