Google hardware event might held on October 5th
Yeah, October is nearing and Google will be announcing Pixel 6 at that time. We know that Google Pixel is one of the hardware launching, and it seems like an article has leaked the date for that.

The hardware event is likely holding on October 5th, as reported by CNET, but later taken down from publication. Mishaal Rahman from XDA got a screenshot of it when it is still live.

By the way, the article only mention Nest, Maps and Travel, no Pixel included. Anyway if it is not included in this event, Google will be likely launching it on October 19 as rumored. (Android Police)

Google Doodle celebrates Google 23rd birthday
Google is founded on September 4, 1998, but Google decided to celebrate their birthday on September 27. Also since Google likes to play with Easter Egg, and here you go, a Doodle for Google's birthday.

In this Doodle, Google changed the "l" word into a cake with a green flickering candle, meanwhile on the cake and the letters featured are covered in chocolate frosting and sprinkles of 4 Google colors.

The cake is made of two-tier, with the top written "23", and also after a few seconds, the bottom tier of the cake revealed a cartoon face, the arm then reaches out to lift the top tier and it seems like greeting to us. (9To5Google)

Auto Dark theme for site features may be coming to Chrome soon
Currently in older version of Chrome, you can force enabled dark mode for all websites by using this flag chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark. In Chrome 96 for Android, there a new chrome://flags/#darken-websites-checkbox-in-themes-setting flag which enable auto dark theme for all websites.

You will first see Disable/Enable Auto-Dark for site option in the popup menu. In Theme settings, you will also see Darken websites checkbox. In site settings, there also a dedicated settings for that too. Here you can add site that you don't want to be in dark mode or affected by it if the site have native dark mode support but doesn't look correctly.

For now, Chrome 96 is still in Canary and these features aren't working well yet. The only one which work correctly is the Darken websites in the Theme settings. Anyway nice to see these features is coming for Chromium browser natively.
