Take a picture and ask questions to Google Lens will be possible soon, thanks to MUM
At 2021 Google I/O, Google announced Multitask Unified Model (MUM), which Google point as a massive improvement for Search. And Google Lens will be among the first to try out the features, coming early next year.

After taking a picture of an object or send a picture to let Google analyse it, swiping up will show you "Visual matches" at the moment. Soon you will see a new "Add questions" button at the top of the sheet which will then let you type your questions to refine your search result.

Several examples of how this works. First one show an image capturing a shirt with pattern style. After that, you can type "socks with this pattern" and Google will help you find it and show you the results. Another one is capturing a broken bike part. Type "how do you fix this" and Google will find you results which will teach you how to fix that part of the bike. (9To5Google)

Google Search is getting a redesign page, also getting some neat tools from MUM
This year of Google Search implemented MUM technology which make Search way smarter.

First redesign you probably notice is the images in the search result. There are inserted in page text too, This make the whole search result more visual appealing.

"Things to know" is where you can easily explore and understand a new topic, this is a similar section to "People also ask" section, but this time it comes with pictures which help you better understand it.

Similar to Google Lens, there will also be new options to refine or broaden your search result. For example, you are interested in “acrylic painting,” you can either refine the search to “puddle painting” or broaden it to “famous painters.”

Lastly, when watching a video in Google search, you will be treated with a list of search results, thanks to MUM. (9To5Google)

Google Maps Material You widget first look
9To5Google seems to have discovered the new Material You widget for Google Maps. It currently does support Dynamic Colors too.

In the widget, we can see that the smallest widget (3x2) has a search bar and two options under it. At 4x2 and 5x2 widget size, we can now see 4 options. The largest widget shown in the screenshot, which has a size of 5x4 I guess, show up all the options available in the widget. Following are the options order respectively:
Home, Restaurants, Bakery, Groceries, Pharmacies, Gas, Hotels.

It is currently hidden in the Google Maps v11.0 beta. The widget seems to only be available for Android 11 & later. On Android 11, it just gonna follow the blue hue like how other Material You redesign apps do. (9To5Google)
