2/3 F-20 prototypes built in a photoshoot formation
The F-20 was powered by the GE F404-GE-100 (F-18's engine), equipped with 2 20mm cannons in the nose and had 7 pylons able to carry a total weight of 3,600kg.
It was designed for export to US allies during the carter administration whilst not possessing frontline US equipment so that the best that they had would be less likely to fall into Soviet hands.
However during the Carter Administration, which changed this policy, F-16s were promoted and sold instead, despite interests from other countries in the F-20.
It was the subject of a scandal within the USAF and pentagon

Reports and footage have come in of the Algerian Air Force receiving the first batch of SU-35S 4th++ Gen multirole fighter.
Its neighbour, Morocco, already reportedly operates block 70/72 F-16V and upgraded block 50/52 to 70/72 standards.
This comes on the backdrop of Algeria ordering SU-57Ms, which might prompt Morocco to respond in turn and order F-35s.
