Pokrovsk. The Ukrainian tactical group "Fort" is seriously improving the defenses in the area. In particular, we notice big amounts of barbed wire between anti-tank ditches and dragon's teeth (which are themselves reinforced with iron rods).

From the field they say that the western and northern outskirts of Toretsk are mostly a gray zone, it's hard to know anything for sure there.
At the moment the most pressing problem for Ukrainians is the sky: Russian FPVs are extremely active both at the zero line and up to 12-15km from it, hunting for logistics, artillery, and personnel.
Normal FPVs are still prevalent in Toretsk relative to fiber optics, but they're also common to see there.
Their assault tactics are unchanged: small groups that are defeated easily but sometimes, due to the sheer scale of the assaults, are able to cling onto some ruins and advance.

A couple of additions again from the field. The Russians are currently pushing hard on the lakes north of the city and the Toretska mine, which has been repeatedly hit by ballistic missiles in the past few days. In some parts of the direction, they combine infantry attacks and heavy FPV barrages. According to my source, this works exclusively if the defender unit is badly coordinated, poorly supplied, and tired. Other than this, they're very often repelled.
At the moment, they are worried that the breakthrough at Novoolenivka might expand further to Stepanivka and south of Kostyantynivka and threaten the whole Toretsk group of forces with supplies.

Kursk - the Russians claim to control a good chunk of Loknya, but the most difficult part for them in assaulting Yunakivka is getting to Loknya itself. For over a week, Russian paratroopers have had serious issues with supplies and troop accumulation: the Basivka - Yunakivka road is under complete Ukrainian drone control, and everything that appears there is immediately striked. As such, going between villages, accumulating and assaulting one (even if a foothold was already gained) results as a much harder task than normal.

And again about Bahatyr. According to Ukrainian source Osman, the counterattack happened indeed, but he states that it’s hard to hold positions there because of enemy pilot activity. This is why the Ukrainians are actively hunting for Russian pilots in this sector. In turn, the Russians dedicated about 80% of their resource to hunt Ukrainian pilots trying to hunt them.
In conclusion, the Russians got control over logistics at Bahatyr when they transferred their pilots to Rozlyv. At that time, Ukrainian pilots had to be withdrawn further back because they were being hunted by Russian UAV crews, but this increased the flight time of the Ukrainian FPVs from the launch point to the target, significantly reducing their effectiveness and control over Russian forces. This led to the Russians advancing and placing their flags without being noticed in time and destroyed.
In conclusion, the Russians got control over logistics at Bahatyr when they transferred their pilots to Rozlyv. According to Ukrainian source Muchnoy, the Ukrainian pockets of resistance in Troitske are insignificant, which is why the Russians have redirected their focus to Horikhove, which provides a direct entry into Dnipropetrovsk Oblast' if taken.
About Bahatyr, he states that the Russians have entrenched in Bahatyr and have begun to reinforce their defensive positions to strike further in the village. This alludes to the fact that Russian forces do not have full control yet over the village and still need to sustain offensive actions.

For my next threads about Lyman and the Kostyantynivka breakthrough, I'm applying a little innovation that I thought about to better visualize the quality of the defenses of the areas. I should be able to publish at least one of them by tomorrow 👀

According to Russian sources, about 3 hours ago a group of 7-8 Ukrainian DRG soldiers appeared in a forest east of Sosnovka, Bryansk Oblast', moved north to Subbotovo, and captured the village. In the local Holy Mother of God church, civilian hostages were reportedly taken and even shot. At the moment the Ukrainians are taking shelter in that exact church.
Some channels even report of more than 100 Ukrainian soldiers participating in the attack.
Fighting is currently going on at Subbotovo, Sosnovka, Vygonychy, Lopush, Peretorgy.
The Ukrainians are facing contingents of the Russian National Guard, FSB, local police and border guards.
The Bryansk - Valky road was blocked in multiple places.

🔥 А на скріні ви можете бачити одного з тих, хто робив те фото. Така ж сама доля чекала і його "друзів". Пікап належить українським бійцям, які вночі просто заплутались в єгозі, а зранку русня добігла туди і почала фоткатися. А відбулося це в районі населеного пункту Троїцьке, як повідомляють нам бійці. Вищому командуванню варто нарешті прийняти це до уваги і зосередити зусилля на знищенні ворожих екіпажів БПЛА.
На тлі постійних наказів по спостереженню і знищенню піхоти противника, ворожі оператори FPV дронів залишаються поза увагою, хоча саме вони виконують 50% наземних задач противника.
Невчасна реакція призведе до обвалу фронту та миттєвого падіння оборони Покровська.

Противник намагається закріпити пілотів БПЛА в Багатирі. Якщо їм це вдасться, наша логістика на цьому напрямку ляже в нуль - аж до кордону з Дніпропетровською областю.
Повторюю: потрібно зосередити максимальну увагу на знищенні ворожих екіпажів БПЛА.
Не можна шкодувати на це ні сил, ні засобів, інакше наша оборона і далі буде приречена на провал.
Знищення одного екіпажу ворожого БПЛА сьогодні — важливіше, ніж знищення 5–10 танків противника.
