About the Russian group spotted and shelled in Pokrovs'k itself, it has likely been a discovered sabotage group or lost soldiers. It is a more common occurrence than many think, there, for the Russians. In short, very likely no consolidation.
I was able to clarify with my contacts. The group was able to cling onto their positions on Pokrovsk's outskirts, but *it is too early to talk about consolidation as of now*

I have received information about Russian accumulation in the red area (Kinburn Spit). Their objective is a serious landing operation somewhere in the Odessa Oblast' and the Ochakiv district. This is in accord with numerous reports of renewed Russian attacks on Tyahynka, Buhaz Island, and Kizomys. According to my contacts, the Ukrainians are currently closing some of the beaches in the area. I am not aware of any further information, but I'll wait and keep an eye on this. For now, don't panic around and spread doom posts, this is just my and my contacts' information.

Recent updates.
- The #Ukrainians took advantage of the recent #Russian failure in attacking #Kotlyarivka and landed 7 soldiers in a fortified treeline (there's a trench system going through it). The center and the south are in #Ukrainian hands, the northern part is under #Russian control. Currently, the #Ukrainians there are being shelled and attacked by Russian FPVs.
- In #Kotlyarivka, #Russian soldiers were seen using a ladder to overcome an anti-tank ditch and run into the treeline just east of the settlement. It's unclear whether the video was recorded before the #Russian roll back with heavy losses from the village or is a new attack.
- #Kotlyne. The #Russians secured the first street, as proved by a geolocation, and the railway's 2 treelines south of it.

A geolocation and reliable Russian reports confirm an entry into Leontovichi yesterday, Pokrovsk outskirts.

Various Ukrainian reports of a successful counterattack in Lysivka, Pokrovsk, that almost completely pushed out the Russians from the settlement.

A Russian source states that the Ukrainians are currently controlling a little more than half of Tetkino, Kursk. Furthermore, half of Gornal is still under Ukrainian control, as are the first tree lines after the border near Popovka, Belgorod.

Here's an example of a wrongly built trench system.
This is a trench system between Tarasivka and Oleksandropil (48.359264, 37.573297). It has been here for 10 months, and it consists of a wide-open trench with 3 dugouts, of which only 1 is made out of concrete, and the other two were made out of wooden planks.
The system is not placed behind any natural or artificial obstacle and is (under)filled with inexperienced units that have known intercommunication problems.
The areas I circled in yellow are where the infantry is really sitting: in the dugouts, which constitute a minuscule part of the area that the system covers.
Everything else, as such, is superfluous and was dug for absolutely 0 purpose.
In fact, in the video, Russian FPVs are striking the wooden dugout hidden in the treeline, which contributes about half to the defense of the whole position.
In conclusion, if you know you're not going to be able to dig a trench system and reinforce it until it's covered and has a sufficient number of camouflaged dugouts, it is better to dig a trench, or even a dugout, in a treeline. Covering a trench system and building dugouts is the minimum requirement. If 1/2 conditions is satisfied, it is worthless and the second option is better.
