Perubahan Baru Play Integrity API Mei 2025 – Apa yang Harus Kamu Tahu?

Google baru-baru ini memperbarui Play Integrity API dengan persyaratan keamanan yang jauh lebih ketat, terutama untuk perangkat Android 13 ke atas. Perubahan ini berdampak besar pada pengguna custom ROM, root, dan bootloader terbuka. Berikut ringkasannya:

• meets-device-integrity:
Sekarang perangkat harus memiliki bootloader terkunci dan menjalankan OS resmi dari produsen. Semua sinyal keamanan berbasis hardware wajib dipenuhi.
Artinya: Custom ROM, bootloader terbuka, atau kernel modifikasi (yang masuk ke dalam daftar hitam Google) tidak akan memenuhi kriteria ini, sehingga banyak aplikasi penting (yang menggunakan Play Integrity API) bisa menolak berjalan.

• meets-strong-integrity:
Selain syarat di atas, perangkat harus menerima pembaruan keamanan di semua partisi (OS dan vendor) dalam setahun terakhir.
Artinya: Kriteria ini jauh lebih ketat dan hanya perangkat yang selalu update yang bisa lolos.

• meets-basic-integrity:
Masih bisa didapatkan oleh perangkat dengan bootloader terbuka atau rooted, asalkan key attestation tersedia.
Namun: Google tidak memberikan jaminan keamanan, privasi, atau kompatibilitas aplikasi pada verdict ini.

Perubahan Play Integrity API Mei 2025 membuat perangkat dengan custom ROM, root, atau bootloader terbuka semakin sulit mengakses aplikasi penting. Kriteria keamanan menjadi jauh lebih ketat, terutama untuk Android 13 ke atas. Jika kamu pengguna custom ROM, siap-siap menghadapi pembatasan yang lebih besar di masa depan.
