🌱 HOW TO GET LAND TO GROW 🌱

So,,,
I keep getting asked by people what to do about the REAL FACTS that food shortages are coming, and also how to go about getting land to grow on...

So here are some tips you can use if you like, or not if you dont want my advice haha 🤣

1. BUY SEEDS NOW. Like right now. Get on a heritage seed bank website and buy seeds to plant now.. Even if you have no space sorted yet, you need to germinate seeds FIRST.

2. Plant seeds inside your house on a window sill in pots with compost, or alternatively germinate inside zip lock bags with WET toilet paper inside them.

3. Go knock on your neighbour's doors. Have a conversation about food shortages coming through the VERY OBVIOUS inflation. No crazy shit, just real facts. Up until 3 months ago; Fertiliser was £250 a tonne now £1000, red disel was 70p litre now £1.50, Roundup was £4.37 litre now £120. Farmers are being pushed out of business.. See if your neighbour's are actually interested in forming a growing community!!!!

4. Local allotments are all good but wouldn't it be better to have security and grow in your own gardens!? That way you have total control over who is in picking distance of the food you grow... Failing that if you dont have a garden or allotment see step 5 below ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

5. Approach ALL local farmers to you directly and do this face to face! People like people not phone calls!! Strike up a conversation about wanting to grow food and not having land. Most Farmers will understand the need as they are being squeezed themselves so MAY rent you an acre or more. The cost of an acre per year is usually between £100-£200 so this is absolutely pittance when split between yourself and a Community you can strike up with your neighbours!!

6. Failing that TAKE OVER a patch of council land that has gone to waste with your neighbours! This land is OUR LAND!! Take it back! If anyone local yocal peeple complains 🤣 then education is obviously required for these people and more so, GET THEM INVOLVED!!
We own all the "council" land as WE HAVE PAID FOR IT! People seem to have forgotten this and who they are!

7. Sow as many of your germinated seeds as possible in ANY land you can get your hands on! Look up NO DIG METHOD on youtube and educate yourself on how to plant straight onto ANY GROUND with corrugated cardboard and manure.

8. Go out and buy semi established fruit trees and plant AS MANY of them as you can ALL over your local area! Planting fruit trees will secure you for the coming DECADES. You can pick them up at b&m and cheap ass wholesale stores for as little as a fiver a tree. One fruit tree once established has the potential to feed 10 families or more every year once grown.
