Australian scientists from Monash University and the Royal Hospital in Melbourne have found a drug that reduces the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes COVID-19 disease, in cells by 99%.

The results showed that after 24 hours the proportion of viral RNA in cell cultures decreased by 93%. And after 48 hours, the presence of the virus in the cells decreased by 99%.

The study is published in the journal Antiviral Research.

Being born into this complete state of unpreparedness,
