This is the only way that you can actually cause someone to change their mind. The reality is we cant do it with contrary information, we can only raise questions in their own mind about what they themselves think.
In other words, if you really want someone to 'wake up', never try and be the messenger of truth, rather you should be attempting to show them their own contradicting beliefs in their own mind.

Like teardrops falling from heaven, where we played, where we cried 


It is not unending this fate, It is of our own making, this mortality

Look for truth, push for truth, personal integrity cannot perish 

- ever 


Break the barriers of our lies


Love seemed to always be the answer, study, practice the middle path,

so engage, indulge in life as best you can 


You have got to give it, to receive it anyway


Fill your heart, don't destroy another's, 

follow self, 

one's own instinct - is sufficient doctrine
