present moment sounds,
taste and smell
Learn this and know it well
the importance of keeping
man's constant bothering
mind at bay
Necessary insight not withstanding
mindful of present inspiration
If too caught up in everything
we may lose sight of possible horizon
So remember this
And look within
that which naturally has inspired
acquired empathy our mind's eye
This the lesson from the elders
all our senses, notions, desire
Is it any wonder that we falter?
For certain man has lost his path
Perplexed fixated on
persistent sin
sometimes gaining sometimes not
Life is balance remember that
teaching this we gain a lot
Always better to look within
To listen to those who spoke
of calm and lucid knowledge of
appeared to sleep yet they awoke
Inspire inside a native state
They told us time and time again
to..
look within, look within
