A freedom of information request has revealed that, once again, the UK Met Office has been publishing temperatures from weather stations that don't even exist.

103 out of 302 listed stations supplying long-term climate average temperatures do not physically exist (closed for years, some since 2010). The Met Office was still publishing "data" for them by estimating/inventing figures via modelling (e.g., regression analysis or the HADUK-Grid model) based on claimed "well-correlated neighbouring stations.
