During presidential campaign Karol Nawrocki received support from Kristi Noem - 🇺🇸 Secretary of Homeland Security. There were multiple appeals to receive any form of support from Trump himself but none of major figures of the Cabinet spoke of such. You may call Karol Nawrocki "trump-backed" loosely
Major trait that people pin on Nawrocki is being "nationalist". All news focus on that role but he was never self-declared as such. During his campaign he had focused on drawing the lines and more conservative policy (in fiscal and social meaning). His campaign was moreso patriotic sentiments stemming from his own life call as a historian. Never did at any point cause of "nationalization" was stated. It was rather the government side that focused on "close borders" or how last conservative government handed out ridiculous number of visas to Indian workers opening country for migration. That's certainly a misnomer
