Is Poland(🇵🇱) going through economic slowdown?
Inflation in 🇵🇱 reached 12% which is promised to slow down in June but many predict for it to be in October. It's hard to tell as Turkey(🇹🇷) has shown inflation even today doesn't put on itself any boundaries. Response of the government is to raise interest rates which happened quickly with many people now struggling with their debts 'cause 🇵🇱 is right now increasing them the fastest in whole EU(🇪🇺). It's one of the last resort options as for some time being government didn't want to do that instead wanting to rely on it's "Anti-inflation shield" which was based around lowering of the taxes on gas and energy in general. What isn't helping is also that 🇵🇱 currency - Zloty(PLN) is losing on it's value. Interest is also lowering in Polish banks obligations and investments in the country with private sector already becoming lazier. Due to the recession also the national debt is basically doubling in the mean time. Over a million 🇺🇦 refugees in the country aren't helping the situation either(through many Poles decided to help them out of their own pocket). They still can offer help by becoming the workforce or being the excuse to make 🇪🇺 increase funds intended for the Vistula country. It's not that everything is looking bleak as 🇵🇱 still has the lowest level of unemployment and enjoys growth even now but there're problems to face with concerns of following 🇹🇷 & Sri Lanka(🇱🇰)
