Certik Audit and Security

Dear Community,

We understand that security is the main priority and most important concern in the DeFi industry. We do not want to put user’s funds at risk. Unfortunately, as we all witnessed, the POSI v1 contract contained a vulnerable issue in the mint function. Luckily, we have successfully stopped and corrected the issue before it made a big impact on the investors. Position Exchange bore all the costs of the unfortunate event.

We have then moved to POSI v2, with some refactors to fix the issue. However, to ensure the new contract is safe for users. We have decided to proceed to an audit with Certik - the most popular and renowned Audit agency and we have already received a preliminary report.

As you can see in the attached file, there are no critical issues with the contract, but only a Centralization Risk, few minor redundant code and informational issues which won’t have any impact on the contract.

Concerning the Centralization Risk of owner, we will implement a system similar to Compound governance for the POSI token contract and Treasury contract which requires the owner to make a proposal in order to be able change the most important components such as treasuryContract, positionStakingManager insuranceFund which has the right to mint more POSI.

POSI token-holders can delegate their voting rights to themselves, or an address of their choice. POSI holders' votes will count proportionately to their POSI balance.

When a governance proposal is created, it enters a 2 day review period, after which voting weights are recorded and voting begins. Voting lasts for 3 days; if a majority, and at least 100,000 votes are cast for the proposal, it is queued in the Timelock, and can be implemented 2 days later. In total, any change to the protocol takes at least one week.

After the system is implemented, an announcement will be made then we will get the final report from Certik.

We are just getting started, as we have been stating, this is a long-term project that will provide maximum benefits for investors.

Deployer address token lock:

As you can see, our deployer address is holding 7.7m POSI which represents 70.0621% of the circulating supply. Note that the max supply is 100m.
We're planning to move the vast majority of the tokens (6.7m POSI) from the deployer address to a Governor + Timelock contract.
The remaining tokens (1m POSI) will be transferred to the migrating smart contract.
The new contract will be named Company Reserve Fund in which the tokens will be locked and will implement a voting function.

Whenever the project needs development funds. We will submit a proposal and let POSI holders vote for it (note that POSI voters will earn a fee for voting). POSI holders' votes will count proportionally to their amount of POSI. The more POSI you have, the more your vote counts. Once the proposal passes, the amount will be locked for 24 hours to execute the withdrawal.

However, since we have implemented RFI technology which allows 1% on every transfer transaction to be shared among POSI holders. There will be an amount of 77,000 POSI (which is equivalent to more than $78,000 at the current rate) distributed to holders.

The more POSI you hold the higher your share of the 1% would be! So buy and HOLD.

The transfer is scheduled for Sunday evening UTC time.

The voting procedure will be followed for all decisions and upcoming changes. Position Exchange is a project that was created to achieve a specific and clear vision, which is to be the most decentralized and community-driven protocol in the Defi Industry.
