computational physics (fluid or solid mechanics), applied mathematics, numerical methods, programming, and image analysis is sought. A master’s degree is a plus but not a requirement. The student will develop new algorithms for modeling multiphase fluid dynamics within porous materials and collaborate closely with experimentalists to identify knowledge gaps and contribute to theory.
