Topic: Postdoctoral Research Fellow – Computational Chemistry

> Denoscription: The successful candidate will develop and implement new methods to allow the efficient sampling of these kinds of molecules to address questions around binding affinity and permeability. The resulting conformational space will then be analyzed with protocols developed by the Postdoctoral Fellow in collaboration with colleagues across Discovery Chemistry to drive testable hypotheses and design new molecules.

Candidates must currently hold a PhD in Computer Science, Biophysics, Computational Chemistry or a related field OR receive a PhD by Fall 2022.

Required Experience and Skills:

Experience in writing scientific code (e.g. in Python, C/C++)
Experience with Machine Learning and/or Molecular Dynamics Simulations and interest in their joint application
Ability to formulate and execute a research plan
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate, collaborate and deliver results while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Preferred Experience and Skills:

Familiarity with enhanced sampling algorithms for molecular dynamics simulations
Experience in applying machine learning to complex dynamic systems and knowledge of machine learning frameworks
Statistical analysis of molecular dynamics simulations and experience with analysis software
Familiarity with modeling of peptides or macrocycles
