PhD in Fisheries Science
Seeking a PhD student to join my lab conducting research on fish ecology and stock assessment in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The project will focus on understanding variation in fish body condition across communities in the Northwest Atlantic Ocean. Fish body condition, the relationship between fish weight and length, can provide information about fish health. Coherent shifts in body condition across species within a community, and across adjacent communities, can serve as an indicator of ecosystem change.
