After JD Vance's statement to European leaders that they must pay attention to European concerns, he has doubled down: 'America is no longer a moralistic power and will not defend any nation that refuses to defend its own people or grant them free speech'.
SecDef Pete Hegseth followed, explicitly demanding Europeans be more like Poland, secure border and solid military spending. No longer an unasked policeman of the world, America will not hop into conflicts or allow NATO to be a globalist organisation, and this will force Europe to take itself seriously.
