After seeing a rejection at 8900$-9000$, Bitcoin has been trading along our 200MA over the last 24 hrs, seemingly flat; yesterdays daily candle closed slightly above the 200ma. As shown in the chart, bitcoin still has some significant overhead resistance at the 8900$-9200$ range, with the 0.618 fib being accompanied by our 50ema (also resistance). While Bitcoin is consolidating in this range, altcoins are starting to see a good recovery from last week's decline. In general, our bias still bearish/neutral as bitcoin has yet to meet our conditions required for a reversal. While we are trading within this zone, we can expect altcoins to be relatively safe; their only real danger would be a drastic move from bitcoin (above 9200$ / below 8500$).Right now, confirmation for our next leg down would still be a daily close beneath 8500$.

Short term, we can anticipate the 9900$ region to act as temporary support; a break beneath this would likely trigger our next move down, so all eyes on this level. In general, we are still bearish/neutral on bitcoin for the mid-term and still recommend being cautious with bitcoin as this recent upside is being fueled by relatively low volume(volume shown at the bottom of the chart); indicating a potential bull trap.
