As we stand, ETH is technically still bullish as its sitting above the 200MA(daily), unlike bitcoin; a loss of support at 180$ would likely result in further downside, potentially back to the 150$-155$ region.We have illustrated two potential scenarios we think are possible for eth, in short, either it holds the 180$ region or it sees a collapse, likely triggering a lengthy correction. Bitcoin has seen a close beneath support @8000$, we believe this level has now flipped into short term resistance and a key level bitcoin must recover above in the short term to see a potential reversal; a recovery above 8100$(daily close) would be optimistic for bulls, however, we still remain in a steep downtrend with technicals becoming increasingly bearish on longer time frames, especially the weekly. We have illustrated a potential pattern we may see happen given 8100$ holds as resistance. As always, we will wait for a clear reversal or the "yellow ball" to get back into bitcoin, presently, technicals are still suggesting further downside.

Hello fellow traders, Bitcoin has failed to close above our key level at 8100$ yesterday as mentioned in the last update, a daily close above this level would be optimistic for bulls in the short-term, however, we still remain in a steep downtrend; the 0.382 fib and our bottom trendline from the parallel channel illustrated are acting as resistance. Given the recent price action, it seems bitcoin following the trajectory shown from the last update(red-green arrows). As always, be patient with bitcoin and wait for a trend reversal or "yellow ball " to go long again, until then we will recommend staying mostly in cash while dedicating a bit of bitcoin towards altcoin signals. Bitcoin seeing an unprecedented 25-30% move down over the last couple hours, triggering a huge sell-off across the market along with trailing stop losses for any open signals. We have tested an old Fibonacci level @ 5600$, which in our opinion is significant support as it is coinciding with our 200MA weekly (ultimate support for bitcoin); a weekly close beneath 5600$ would be devastating for the crypto market. Our last test of the 200MA also represented mining cost(green box), given the halving is in less than 2 months, bitcoin would need to hold above the 2nd green box to remain profitable once the network halving kicks in. Very important region for bitcoin to hold fundamentally and technically.
