There are a LOT of taxpayer dollars dedicated to make sure you are paying what your respective ruling government deems as "fair." Remember that income tax was only ever "supposed" to be temporary.

There are always methods to get around this, but ideally you should reside in a place that treats you decently (or at least doesn't actively discriminate against you). No laws being broken on your end, living under a government that values you... should be easy enough, right?

If you are not a "US person" (citizen or permanent resident), it is. Simply establish legal residency in a country that suits you and you should be able to keep almost all of your wealth. That's why plenty of well-to-do Euro-Boomers get their "golden visa" in Portugal.

If you are a US person, it becomes a lot trickier. The IRS feel the right to be ennoscriptd to your income, no matter where you reside. With your SSN, you are branded as tax chattel, and must take significant steps to unchain yourselves.

Following the recent attacks on substations in North Carolina (see video), combatants on the west coast have followed suit. This is likely why many mainstream media outlets outside of the tricounty area refused to acknowledge the Moore County outages.

Leftists on Twitter and Reddit claim the woman responsible for the first attack was associated with the unauthorized protest that took place on January 6. From what I know, the feds have cleared her of any suspicion.

I hope you've taken the time and resources over the last couple years to adapt to potential grid-down scenarios. I have heard that if as little as 10-20 substations across the United States go under, the entire grid is in jeopardy of collapse. It could come to your area too.

US Federal agents are surely panicking to nip this in the bud as soon as they can. But with many types of unprotected infrastructure spread across the country, this will be a difficult task.

This is the second time LastPass has been compromised this year. Download KeepassXC, and keep your randomly generated passwords safe on an airgapped, encrypted computer. Stop giving up custody of everything out of sheer laziness.

If people and corporations are so eager to voluntarily hand over their passwords to emails and bank accounts, and millions of dollars in assets to a third party without doing the slightest due diligence, well, maybe we're in the wrong business.
