Africans are not the only peoples who have features which include thick lips and broad noses. Those features are an adaptation to tropical climates and are not bound to just one continent. Some of the Negroid traits are found among some Native Americans (Olmec), Hawaiians, Polynesians and South East Asians.
None of them are categorized as Negroids let alone at Blacks. The Melanesians, the Blacks of the Asian Islands, are not called Negroes. All these people are not ethnic Africans. The out of Africa narrative is wrong. For the same reason as when you look at the semi-random pattern of stars in the night sky. You see recognisable shapes and items.
You see what your experience tells you to see. For most Europeans and North Americans. A wide face with a broad flattish nose and large lips spells African. But it really doesn't. For the most part Africans don't even look like that. It is only really a small subset of Africans that have those particular features in the first place.
