Maxwell Jury Returns to Deliberations after Christmas Break
Jurors in the Ghislaine Maxwell trial have returned for their fourth day of deliberations, having forced her to spend her 60th birthday on Xmas day behind bars.
The jury will sit through till Wednesday this week, but if they still don’t reach a verdict they’ll have to resume next week, as the court closes for the New Year holidays.
Maxwell’s lawyers have described her cell as “fit for Hannibal Lector," while accusing the prosecution of manipulating accusers’ stories without corroborating them to build a false image of Maxwell.
