UK Police Log “Hate Incident” Against Conservative Lawmaker Who Shared Post Referring to Trans Candidate As “Man in a Wig”

The UK authorities have officially registered an official “hate incident” in connection with Rachel Maclean, the deputy chairman of the Conservative Party, due to a social media post in which she referred to a transgender woman as a “man in a wig.”

This incident came to light following a complaint lodged by Melissa Poulton, a would-be Green Party candidate, prompting West Mercia Police to include Maclean’s remarks in their archives.

The controversial and Orwellian “Non Crime Hate Incident” was declared because Maclean, being a figure with a significant enough online following, was deemed to have potentially reached a significant number of people with her comments.

According to The Telegraph, convinced of her innocence, Maclean endeavors to overturn this decision and erase her name from the police records.

U.S. Forces Have Come Under Attack Over 100 Times in Iraq and Syria Since October

A Pentagon official said Thursday (Dec 22) that US troops in Iraq and Syria have come under attack at least 102 times since October 17, when the attacks started due to US support for the Israeli onslaught on Gaza.

The Pentagon official told Military Times that the number includes 47 attacks in Iraq and 55 in Syria that involved a “mix of one-way attack drones, rockets, mortars, and close-range ballistic missiles.”

At least 66 US troops have been injured in the attacks so far, including five who have been awarded Purple Hearts. US officials say most of the rockets and drones fired at US bases didn’t reach their intended target.

Most of the attacks have been claimed by the Islamic Resistance of Iraq, an umbrella group of Iraqi Shia militias. The US has launched several rounds of airstrikes in Syria and Iraq in response and specifically targeted Kataib Hezbollah, one of the main Iran-aligned Shia militias in Iraq.

A Second Gay Congressional Staffer Was Filmed Having Sex in a Capitol Building

A Senate staffer made headlines earlier this week after a leaked video showed him engaging in sexual acts with another man inside a Senate building. As it turns out, he wasn't the first.

News broke on Wednesday of a second investigation into a congressional staffer, who allegedly filmed himself performing sex acts with another man inside the U.S. Capitol in the summer of 2022. The videos first circulated on Snapchat from a user with the screen name "Adam J," according to Semafor, which first reported the story.

In one of the videos, a man masturbates inside a House office building, which the outlet identified through the furniture and a mouse pad branded with a congressional seal. In the second video, two men — whose faces were not visible — engaged in sexual acts in another office.

The staffer has not been named but was identified by Semafor as a former senior House staffer of Republican U.S. Rep. Dan Newhouse of Washington. A spokesperson told the outlet that they launched an investigation into “purported, unbecoming behavior” last year, but that it found “no conclusive evidence.”

“As soon as the office was alerted, we immediately contacted the appropriate House entities to conduct an independent investigation,” the spokesperson said. "The office will not be providing further comment on personnel matters.”

Dear Freedom Movement: Donald Trump is Not a Friend of Liberty

Trump supporters continue to believe the former President is the only defense against rising techno-tyranny even as he makes it abundantly clear he is not a champion of individual liberty.

Are we truly on the verge of a 2nd American Civil War, as the corporate media has claimed for the last several years? Or, are we being manipulated to believe in the potential for a Civil War via predictive programming and useful idiots disguised as news anchors?

Now, I am not one to shout about Civil War being on the horizon, and I have been critical of those who have done so in the past 8 years. However, the reality is that many Trump supporters are completely convinced Donald Trump is the only thing standing in the way of the implementation of a Fascist New World Order. Trump supporters see the ruling from the Colorado Supreme Court as simply the latest in a long line of attacks on the one person they believe has a chance at stopping the march towards tyranny.

Of course, nothing could be further from the truth. Anyone who has watched the last 8 years with an open mind and critical thinking knows that Trump has long been exposed as an enemy of liberty. Unfortunately, for one reason or another, many indy media outlets, content creators, and journalists have opted for turning a blind eye to Trump’s most egregious actions.

U.N. Security Council Delays Vote on Gaza Resolution Yet Again

The UN Security Council again pushed back a vote on a Gaza resolution that was initially scheduled to be brought forward for a vote on Monday.

The vote is now scheduled for Friday and was delayed throughout the week due to the threat of a US veto. The US worked to water down the resolution and remove a call for a cessation of hostilities.

According to AFP, after negotiators worked on Thursday, the latest draft version of the resolution calls for “creating the conditions for a sustainable cessation of hostilities” but doesn’t call for a ceasefire.

Another major sticking point about the resolution, which was put forward by the UAE, was a call to give the UN “exclusive” control of inspections of humanitarian aid before it enters Gaza, something the US and Israel rejected. According to The Washington Post, the UN also wanted more flexible language on this issue.

The Post report said the new draft circulated on Thursday satisfied at least some US concerns, enough that the US would abstain from voting and not veto the resolution.

In Unprecedented Slaughter of Gaza Civilians, U.S. Claims Israel is the “Victim”

In a news conference this week, Secretary of State Antony Blinken lashed out at global criticism of US support for Israel’s mass murder campaign in Gaza.

“I hear virtually no one saying, demanding of Hamas that it stop hiding behind civilians, that it lay down its arms, that it surrender. This is over tomorrow if Hamas does that,” Blinken complained. “How can it be that there are no demands made of the aggressor, and only demands made of the victim?”

Blinken’s statement is an outright endorsement of state terrorism. Its underlying logic affirms that Israel is free to massacre Palestinian civilians until the armed resistance in their midst offers up a “surrender.”

The chief US diplomat’s indigitation at the supposed absence of any “demands” on Hamas is also based on a false premise. As Blinken is well aware, the multiple UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions that his government has vetoed demanded that Hamas grant the unconditional release of all hostages. But because these resolutions also demanded that Israel end its attack on Gaza and allow the unfettered delivery of humanitarian aid, the US has blocked them.

Committed to defending Israeli violence at all costs, Blinken is accordingly willing to cast Hamas as the “aggressor” and Israel—an occupying power that has now reportedly murdered a well over 20,000 people in Gaza—as the “victim.”

Ukiah Pd K9 Cop Kevin Murray, 39, Decertified For Forcible Rape Of At Least 1 Minor Under Age 14 And Burglary, Has Most Charges Dropped And Was Given Probation Only For Crimes

Last January, new laws enabling decertification of bad cops went into effect in California. Ukiah Officer Kevin Murray was placed on the POST list and was formally decertified in 2023 and will not be able to work as a police officer in California again.

At the beginning of his trial, he faced seven felonies ranging from forcible rape to burglary.

The original six charges in the complaint were listed as: two counts of felony burglary in the first degree and one count of felony sexual battery alleged to have occurred on Nov. 25, 2020; one count of felony forcible rape alleged to have occurred on June 1, 2014, one count of felony forcible oral copulation with a child under 14 years of age alleged to have occurred on April , alleged to have occurred on Dec. 1, 2020.This second victim was to speak in court but suddenly, Zoom experienced technical difficulties and she was unable to complete her testimony. She was not called back to replace the missed opportunity in court.

He was again accused of rape when he reportedly broke into a woman’s hotel room and raped her in November of 2020, carrying a gun and bringing methamphetamine. It was recommended after this rape that he be required to register as sex offender.

Then a third victim appeared. She was a former Ukiah police officer accusing him of rape. Strangely, the DA never prosecuted Murray for it. Strangely, this third victim, another officer, was never called to testify against him and instead resorted to filing a lawsuit against the city.

By 2022, the most serious charges had all been dropped. He was not required to register as sex offender and he was placed on probation only.

He ended up pleading No Contest to felony dissuading a victim from reporting a crime and was sentenced to merely 2 years of formal probation with a 2-year suspended sentence. He has been decertified and will not be able to work as a law enforcement officer in California again but nothing prevents him from becoming a cop in another state.

Child Sexual Abuse Pictures Found in Database That's Used to Train AI Image Generators

A dataset used to train AI image generators contains thousands of suspected images of child sexual abuse, according to a new report.

An investigation by the Stanford University Cyber Policy Center found that the LAION-5B database, which has been used to train several AI image generators including Stable Diffusion 1.5, an earlier version of an AI model by Stability AI, contained over 3,200 images of suspected child abuse.

Just over 1,000 of those images were confirmed to be child sexual abuse material, with the report warning that their presence in the dataset may allow generative AI tools built on this data to be used to create new child abuse content.

LAION-5B is a massive public archive of around five billion images scraped from the open web.

It has been used by a variety of AI companies, which require huge amounts of data to train generative AI models that can produce new images in seconds.

Experts have long warned that AI image generators risk unleashing a tsunami of ultra-realistic AI-generated images of child sexual abuse, with the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) warning that such images are already widely circulating on the dark web.

Online safety organizations in the UK, meanwhile, have called for "urgent action" over instances of children using AI image generators at school to create indecent content of their fellow pupils.

Biden Approval Rating Sinks To All-time Low In New National Poll

Americans questioned in Monmouth University poll gave President Biden particularly poor marks on his handling of immigration, inflation

Only one-third of Americans gave President Biden a thumbs up on the job he is doing in the White House, according to a new national public opinion survey.

The president stands at 34% approval in a Monmouth University poll released on Monday, with 61% giving Biden a thumbs down on his job performance.

The president's approval is at an all-time low in Monmouth polling since Biden took over the White House nearly three years ago.

Americans questioned in the survey gave the president particularly low marks for his handling of immigration (26%) and inflation (28%).
