The Israeli army's Arabic spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, issued an evacuation order to all residents in Gaza on 13 June via X, declaring vast areas of the strip as “dangerous combat zones” that the citizens should stay away from.
In the map he shared, the red areas shown are designated as “dangerous combat zones,” and cover the majority of the Gaza Strip, forming a wide horizontal band that spans almost the entire region from north to south, leaving only a narrow strip along the coastline where people can traverse.
The Gaza Strip suffered a total collapse of its communications infrastructure one day prior to the evacuation warning, effectively cutting it off from the outside world.
UN spokesperson Farhan Haq described the situation as “a complete collapse,” not a routine outage, with mobile networks barely functioning.
The blackout was attributed to heavy Israeli military activity, which severed Gaza’s last remaining fiber cable route in the central and southern areas.
The Palestinian Telecommunications Regulatory Authority accused Israel of deliberately targeting telecom infrastructure, stating that repeated attempts to restore connectivity had failed.

– Tomahawk missiles were used on Isfahan, instead of bunker busters, due to its extreme depth
– The impact was limited mostly to power infrastructure and aboveground processing facilities
– Setback estimated at only a few months
Trump, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and other officials insist the mission was a success — but even weapons experts and satellite imagery analysts say the core nuclear capabilities survived.
Meanwhile, Trump canceled classified briefings to Congress, sparking outrage among lawmakers.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told CNN in a statement:
“This alleged assessment is flat-out wrong and was classified as ‘top secret’ but was still leaked to CNN by an anonymous, low-level loser in the intelligence community. The leaking of this alleged assessment is a clear attempt to demean President Trump, and discredit the brave fighter pilots who conducted a perfectly executed mission to obliterate Iran’s nuclear program. Everyone knows what happens when you drop fourteen 30,000 pound bombs perfectly on their targets: total obliteration.”
