Hamas Insists On ‘Complete End To War’ After Trump Says Israel Agreed To 60-Day Truce
The deal on the table is based on the Steve Witkoff plan, which will allow Israel to continue the war once the captives are exchanged
A Hamas official said on 2 July that the resistance movement is open to any agreement that results in an end to the nearly two-year genocide, hours after US President Donald Trump claimed Israel has agreed to a 60-day ceasefire.
Hamas leader Taher al-Nunu said that the resistance movement is “ready and serious regarding reaching an agreement,” and is “ready to accept any initiative that clearly leads to the complete end to the war.”
A Hamas delegation is expected to meet with Qatari and Egyptian mediators in Cairo on Wednesday to discuss the US proposal for an agreement.
Meanwhile, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid has renewed his offer of a political safety net for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to conclude a deal. “You have 23 votes from me as a safety net for the hostage deal. We need to bring everyone home now,” Lapid said.
Lapid was responding to reports that extremist, far-right ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich may work together to prevent a deal from being reached.

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir contacted Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich on Wednesday, urging him to join forces in opposing the Gaza ceasefire deal being promoted by the US.
Hebrew-language media reports said the two were considering holding a meeting to coordinate their resistance to the US-backed proposal.
Smotrich, through his spokesperson, denied any collaboration, accusing Ben Gvir of “playing a game” by leaking information to the press.
The possibility of the ministers obstructing a ceasefire agreement sparked backlash from opposition figures, who pledged to secure a Knesset majority in support of any such deal, and from the captives' families, who condemned the reported actions as a “disgrace.”
According to KAN (Israeli Broadcasting Corporation), Ben Gvir justified his outreach by saying he couldn’t stop the deal alone, but “together they have enough votes [in parliament] against the deal.”

First, there's history and clinical picture. The 1.5 yo girl was in her mother's arms very near a GHF "aid" site. They opened fire. She was struck and started screaming, with blood pouring down her right side. On exam, she was struggling, had crepitus, and an obvious entry wound...
The X-Ray shows three clear signs she was shot: 1. A bullet; 2. A chest tube; 3. Air outside the lung, which was the crepitus I felt. The chest tube is to treat a pneumothorax (air outside the lung in the chest cavity), and was inserted when the US showed decreased lung sliding.
I chose this X-Ray because it is visually striking and clear. That's why @Glia_Intl posted it. Despite copious evidence from multiple sources and over 550 mortalities at GHF "aid" sites, some called the veracity of these images into question. The keen-eyed knew better because...
That's not a regular X-Ray at all. That is a scout, which means that it was done to properly stage a CT. So what does the CT show?
The CT shows the bullet clearly going through child's lung, causing the pneumothorax and subcutaneous emphysema, and settling just on top of the right diaphragm posteriorly
This girl's injuries are typical of patients from GHF "aid" sites. Many/most of my trauma patients have X-Rays/CTs that look like this with varying amounts of damage. Here are a random smattering from my camera roll taken over about a week at Nasser. Some lived. Some died

“We’re now checking with the Americans what’s really happening,” an anonymous Ukrainian official was cited as saying by the Washington Post on 2 July.
Other Ukrainian officials were “silent or declined to answer, and seem to have been caught by surprise by the news,” the report added.
The US Department of Defense announced halting shipments of air defense missiles and other precision munitions over concerns that stockpiles were running low.
The decision was led by the Pentagon’s policy chief, Elbridge Colby.
