A US warship arrived in the Caribbean nation of Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday for four days of military drills
Venezuela accused Trinidad and Tobago on 27 October of conducting military exercises coordinated with the US military's Southern Command and CIA to provoke an armed confrontation on Venezuelan soil.
Caracas issued a statement saying that the joint military operation was meant to spark a war in the same way the Gulf of Tonkin false flag incident sparked the Vietnam War in 1964.
A US warship, the USS Gravely, docked in the Trinidad and Tobago capital on Sunday to participate in four days of training exercises that were only scheduled recently, AP reported, citing officials of the twin-island nation.
A statement issued by Venezuela accused Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar of surrendering her country's national sovereignty and allowing its territory to be used as a US military base.
Caracas said the policy seeks to transform Trinidad and Tobago into an “aircraft carrier” for US military operations targeting Venezuela, Colombia, and all of South America.

Israel has significantly escalated its attacks on Lebanon in recent days, killing nearly 30 people in the past month alone
US envoy Tom Barrack has issued a new threat to Lebanon – warning it to either enter direct talks with Israel and clearly commit to disarming Hezbollah, or face a new escalation, Al-Akhbar newspaper reported on 28 October.
Barrack is due to arrive in the country on Wednesday for talks with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.
According to informed sources cited by Al-Akhbar, Barrack is warning that this is his “last visit to Lebanon.”
“I will inform the president, the prime minister, and the speaker of parliament that they have one last chance,” Barrack reportedly added, according to the sources.
“Either they learn their lesson and decide to enter into direct negotiations with Israel under US auspices, to establish a timetable and mechanism for disarming Hezbollah, or Lebanon will be left to its fate, and will remain so for a long time, with no one to care about it, neither in America nor in the region, and no one will be able to pressure Israel to prevent it from doing whatever it deems appropriate to undertake disarmament by force.”

Cop Murders Man For Touching Him, Then Retires
CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FLORIDA - “On Sept. 23, Daniel Scott Burch was shot and killed by Deputy First Class Timothy Poole following an assault investigation.“ - FOX4NOW
“The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office announced that Timothy Poole submitted his retirement notice, which went into effect Thursday.”
“On Sept. 23, deputies were called out multiple times to the condo complex. At approximately 8:50 a.m., the CCSO responded to a criminal mischief call possibly involving 50-year-old Daniel Scott Burch.
Although Sheriff Bill Prummell said it was believed Burch was responsible for some damage around his neighbor’s property, there was no evidence at the time. Prummell said the responding deputy only documented the damage and left.
Later that day, the CCSO was called back to the complex by Burch’s neighbor, who said Burch had physically assaulted him at the Deep Creek Golf Club.
Body camera footage that was released earlier this week showed Poole and Burch’s confrontation, during which Poole shot Burch.
Burch was taken to the hospital and died on Sept. 25.”

Israel serves as an example for Taiwan in strengthening its defenses, President Lai Ching-te said in remarks published today, invoking the Biblical story of David and Goliath.
Speaking at a Monday night dinner hosted by the US Israel Public Affairs Committee in Taiwan, Lai said the Jewish people have endured centuries of persecution.
"The Taiwanese people often look to the example of the Jewish people when facing challenges to our international standing and threats to our sovereignty from China. The people of Taiwan have never become discouraged," he said, according to his office.
"Israel's determination and capacity to defend its territory provides a valuable model for Taiwan. I have always believed that Taiwan needs to channel the spirit of David against Goliath in standing up to authoritarian coercion."
