Dr. Phil Reveals Facebook Censored His Video on Child Trafficking at the Border

Algorithmic censorship.

In an interview on “The Breakfast Club,” well-known radio and TV show show host, psychologist Dr. Phil McGraw, usually known as Dr. Phil, called out Facebook and Instagram for their censorship practices.

He shared this during a conversation with the show’s host, Charlamagne tha God. Dr. Phil highlighted the significance of social media platforms in shaping public opinion, particularly among young Americans.

Dr. Phil ... posted a video clip from his visit to the US-Mexico border on Facebook and Instagram. The clip, which quickly garnered tens of thousands of views, featured Dr. Phil discussing child trafficking.

However, just 50 minutes after going live and experiencing rapid viral growth, the video was abruptly taken down.

Dr. Phill stated:

“I put a clip up of my trip to the border, just a small clip… I posted it up on Facebook and Instagram and it was the part of me talking to him about trafficking these children… It was up about 50 minutes and going viral super fast, I mean like tens of thousands of views in a matter of a few minutes, it was going straight vertical and then bang! It just stopped. It stopped and it got shut down. They just – the algorithm – they shut it down.”

Charlamagne, in response, shared a similar experience with The Breakfast Club content on YouTube. He pointed out that their politically charged videos often face restrictions due to the censorship algorithms embedded in various social media platforms.

Iran, Algeria Agree To Strengthen Bilateral Ties

The presidents of the two nations met to discuss expanding economic and political relations

Algeria and Iran agreed to take further steps to strengthen economic relationships between the two nations during Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi’s official visit to Algiers on 3 March.

Tasnim reported that both the Algerian and Iranian heads of state voiced satisfaction with the talks and the results made during Raisi’s official visit to Algeria. Both nations agreed to further strengthen existing ties.

Both sides inked several agreements to promote bilateral economic relations across energy, startups, science and technology, tourism, media, sports, and strategic studies.

The two nations also agreed on the need to integrate communications between the public and private sectors to explore further investment opportunities in fields such as oil and gas, new technologies, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, transit, customs, and tourism.

Raisi praised Algeria’s role in fighting against imperialism and hegemony, saying “The regional policy of Algeria is aimed at elevating the peace and security of the region and we see this policy in a positive light.”

Iran and Algeria emphasized the need to increase efforts to establish security and peace in West Asia and adopt peaceful solutions to combat the problems the region faces.

Gaza Truce ‘Not Necessarily’ Applicable In South Lebanon: US

Last week, Israel’s defense minister said that Tel Aviv will continue striking Lebanon even if a truce is reached in Gaza

Senior White House Advisor Amos Hochstein said during a visit to Beirut on 4 March that a truce in the Gaza Strip will “not necessarily” extend to Lebanon.

“An escalation will not help the Lebanese or the Israelis return to their homes,” Hochstein said on Monday following a meeting with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.

“The United States is committed to working with the government of Lebanon to end the violence that began on October 8. It is working in order to reach a truce in the Gaza Strip and release the hostages.”

Hochstein added that "any truce in Gaza will not necessarily extend automatically to Lebanon" and said Washington is “working with international partners to secure a peaceful solution in Lebanon."

“A diplomatic solution is the only solution to … the situation on the Lebanese and Israeli borders," he stressed.

China Sets Ambitious Economic Growth Target Of ‘Around 5%’ For 2024, Vows To ‘Transform’ Economy

China has set an ambitious economic growth target of “around 5%“ for 2024, as its leaders vowed to “transform the growth model” in the face of growing challenges.

The figure — similar to last year’s growth target — was announced by Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Tuesday at the opening of the annual gathering of the National People’s Congress (NPC), the country’s rubber-stamp legislature, which draws nearly 3,000 delegates to Beijing for a week-long meeting.

“Stability is of overall importance, as it is the basis for everything we do,” Li said during the delivery of his maiden work report.

“Making progress is our goal, and it is also what motivates us,” he said. “In particular, we must push ahead with transforming the growth model, making structural adjustments, improving quality, and enhancing performance.”

China also unveiled its annual military budget for 2024, which will increase 7.2% to 1.67 trillion yuan ($230.6 billion), according to the draft budget report released separately on Tuesday. The growth rate for the budget is the same as last year’s.

....Officials are seeking to boost confidence in China’s economy, while grappling with how to stabilize the property sector, counter deflationary pressures, reverse a foreign capital exodus and save a battered stock market.

Nuland and the Biden administration came under fire in September of 2022 after the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines that run under the Baltic Sea between Russia and Germany.

Israel’s E-Warfare: Using Smartphones to Kill the Lebanese Resistance

Israel penetrates everyday Lebanese smartphones and security cameras as part of a formidable surveillance and espionage mission to kill Hezbollah fighters.

Recently, there has been a flurry of reports detailing Israel's capabilities in surveillance and tracking of mobile devices in connection to Tel Aviv’s military aggression against southern Lebanon.

These covert operations, which often involve targeted assassinations by drones or warplanes, were executed by exploiting the presence of mobile phones – both smartphones and regular devices – among Lebanese resistance fighters while engaged in cross-border operations in support of the Palestinian resistance the day after Al-Aqsa Flood was launched.

Israeli intelligence uses the data from these devices, including GPS-enabled smartwatches, to pinpoint the locations of targets and to track fighters’ movements.

Additionally, there have been reports about Israel exploiting the devices owned by friends and families of resistance fighters, who may not be fully aware of the risks posed by their technology usage. This lack of awareness opens up avenues for Israeli intelligence to gather information through electronic means, such as smart TVs connected to the internet or other electronic devices that transmit data.

This vulnerability was recognized by Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, who in a speech on 13 February urged his partisans in the south to “throw” away smartphones, which he described as “spy device[s].”

Advocates of gender-affirming care say it’s evidence-based.

But now, newly released internal files from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) prove that the practice of transgender medicine is neither scientific nor medical.

American Medical Association, The Endocrine Society, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and thousands of doctors worldwide rely on WPATH. It is considered the leading global authority on gender medicine.

And yet WPATH’s internal files, which include written discussions and a video, reveal that its members know they are creating victims and not getting “informed consent.”

Victims include a 10-year-old girl, a 13-year-old developmentally delayed adolescent, and individuals suffering from schizophrenia and other serious mental illnesses.

The injuries described in the WPATH Files include sterilization, loss of sexual function, liver tumors, and death.

WPATH members indicate repeatedly that they know that many children and their parents don’t understand the effects that puberty blockers, hormones, and surgeries will have on their bodies. And yet, they continue to perform and advocate for gender medicine.

The WPATH Files prove that gender medicine is comprised of unregulated and pseudoscientific experiments on children, adolescents, and vulnerable adults. It will go down as one of the worst medical scandals in history.

X Backtracks on “Misgendering” Policy, Makes it Country-Specific

X had faced much criticism over the sudden change to suppress speech that didn't use the correct "pronouns" for a user.

The course of action taken by the social media giant X in response to objections raised against its “misgendering” policy has prompted reassurances from its owner, Elon Musk.

The pushback against the policy, led vociferously by podcaster Tim Pool, saw Pool vent his ire via a Friday post, instigating disruption to his ad obligations and verified accounts, lest the policy was revived.

Pool went beyond mere words; he terminated a substantial ad campaign.

Musk responded by attributing this unexpected policy revision to a Brazilian court verdict, which is currently under appeal and assured that its repercussions should be contained within the Brazilian confines alone, unaffected by the rest of the globe.

The policy has now been updated to reflect that this policy will only be active in countries that require it.

Tel Aviv On Edge Over Talk Of Mass Troop Resignations

Jealousy is spreading within the ranks of the military as career soldiers feel unfairly treated

The Israeli army is worried about the rise of members in its ranks voluntarily leaving the forces just as reports have surfaced that the military is in need of an increase in support, Israel Hayom reported on 5 March.

Higher-ups within the Israeli army have raised alarms over talks between the younger soldiers and more veteran career officers who have voiced desires to leave the forces as soon as the operation situation allows it.

Career officers have even expressed envy toward the reservist forces. One combat support soldier who spoke with Israel Hayom noted, "If I go out in dress uniform, they look at me with contempt. If I'm in combat fatigues—the attitude is completely different because they think I'm a reservist.”

"Even though I'm 'only' a combat support soldier, I don't go home; before the war, I would come home occasionally. My family doesn't receive support from the state, the army, society, or the economy,” the soldier said. “My wife sees in the media the warm embrace for reservists, but no one strengthens or embraces career soldiers and their families. None of us expect prizes or luxuries, just a kind word, a minimum of respect.”

Another member of the Israeli army noted that the families of career officers are being torn apart by mounting familial dues and psychological harm to their children over their prolonged stay on the battlefield.

An Israeli army spokesman decided to overlook the jealousy within the force and said that their “strength lies in the quality of its servicemembers.”

Recently, the Israeli Army Spokesperson’s Unit, led by Lt Col Daniel Hagari, has witnessed a wave of resignations in the unit.

“A large number of officers recently announced their retirement from the unit responsible for the military’s information system [...] after things did not work out ‘professionally and personally,’” Channel 14 correspondent Tamir Morg reported.

US Opinion Of Israel Lowest In Two Decades: Poll

US young adults are much more critical of Israel than the nation's older population

A Gallup poll released on 4 March showed that the opinions of US citizens regarding both Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) have worsened since the beginning of the Gaza war in October.

“Fifty-eight percent of Americans, down from 68 [percent] last year, have a ‘very’ or ‘mostly favorable’ view of Israel,” Gallup’s report read. “This is the lowest favorable rating for Israel in over two decades. At the same time, positive opinions of the Palestinian Authority have dropped from 26 [percent] to 18 [percent], the lowest since 2015.”

The pollster noted that US citizens have always had a more favorable view of Israel than the Palestinians but that young adults have shown to hold a less positive view of the US ally.

“Young adults show the biggest decline in ratings of Israel, dropping from 64 [percent] favorable among 18- to 34-year-olds in 2023 to 38 [percent],” the report added. “Middle-aged adults (those aged 35 to 54) show a smaller but still significant drop, from 66 [percent] to 55 [percent], while there has been no meaningful change among adults aged 55 and older.”

Gallup noted that the young adult population is much more likely to identify as politically independent than their older counterparts, and independents have shown the biggest change of opinion on Israel over the past year. Older US citizens are almost twice as likely to rate Israel positively than younger citizens, 71 percent to 38 percent respectfully.

Spain To Sanction Extremist Israeli Settlers

Madrid is following similar moves by the UK and France to sanction settlers in early February

Spain announced on 4 March that it has begun taking provisions towards sanctioning a dozen violent Israeli settlers in the West Bank.

"The government of Spain has initiated the procedures to sanction a first group of 12 violent settlers," Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares said. "We know that silence and inaction always work against the victims."

Spanish daily El Pias reported that Spain’s foreign ministry has a list of dozens of extremist Israeli settlers, which could potentially lead to a second wave of sanctions.

Madrid had also previously called on the European Union as a whole to put sanctions on violent settlers but fell short of the numbers needed to get the vote.

On Monday, Albares also made clear that Spain supports the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). Previously, Spain passed a package worth $3.8 million; Albares said that Madrid is preparing a second emergency aid package which will be “much larger.”

This comes as other nations have suspended funding for the rights organization following allegations made by the Israelis that UNRWA staff members were working with Hamas.
