This is how unpacking the lies of the empire tends to unfold for people. Your eyes flicker open because of some really obvious plot hole in the official narrative like Vietnam, the Iraq invasion, or Gaza, and then once you've seen through those lies you start getting curious about how else you've been deceived. You start pulling on other threads and learning more and more, and then after a while you start seeing the big picture about the US-centralized empire inflicting horrific abuses upon humanity all around the world with the goal of dominating the world.

If you saw through the lies about Gaza, don't stop there. Keep going. Keep pulling on threads. Keep learning. Stay curious. They lied about Gaza, they lied about Iraq, they lied about Libya, they lied about Ukraine, and they're lying about Syria too. Don't listen to anyone who tries to dull your curiosity. Ignore anyone who tries to shout you down and shut you up for asking inconvenient questions. Keep waking up from the matrix of empire propaganda until your eyes are truly clear.

Assad Vows To Eradicate 'Terrorism' As Syrian Army Regroups To Confront HTS Offensive

Damascus' forces are now holding the line north of the city of Hama as the Al-Qaeda-affiliated militants control much of Aleppo City

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad pledged to use force to eradicate "terrorism" during a phone call on 1 December with the Acting President of the Republic of Abkhazia, Syrian state media SANA reported.

Assad stated that "terrorism only understands the language of force, and that is the language which we will break it and eliminate it with, whoever its supporters and sponsors are," SANA reported.

In related comments, Syrian Prime Minister Mohammad al-Jalali stated on Sunday that "The Syrian Arab Army, with the support of all government agencies, is now confronting the terrorist aggression and starting a new phase, and we promise to liberate all Syrian territory."

On Wednesday, a US, Israeli, and Qatari-backed armed group, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), invaded the Aleppo countryside, and on Saturday reached Aleppo City, Syria's second-largest. The UN-designated terror group, previously known as the Nusra Front, launched the attack from Idlib Governorate, which lies west of Aleppo. HTS occupied Idlib in 2015 with help from CIA-supplied TOW anti-tank missiles.

The Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA), which includes many former ISIS members, joined HTS to invade Aleppo from areas the group occupies east of Aleppo along the Turkiye border.

Over 60 percent of Israelis believe their army lost the war against Hezbollah in Lebanon as displaced northern settlers say Tel Aviv is 'deceiving' them

Residents of cities and settlements in the north of Israel are expressing outrage about the ceasefire deal with Lebanon that started on the morning of 27 November, accusing Tel Aviv of leaving the region vulnerable to the same threat posed by Hezbollah before the war began.

“We are now entering a situation far worse than 6 October; they are misleading us,” Metula Council head David Azoulay told Channel 12 News, describing a meeting he held with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu late Tuesday evening as "a one-sided spectacle.”

“We are now entering a situation far worse than October 6, they're misleading us,” he added.

“What do I say? That it's very bad, real bad … [The government did nothing, and our soldiers were wasted away for nothing. Bibi (Netanyahu) should pack himself out of the government quickly, even though I supported him. He needs to go home urgently,” Nahariya resident Levana Karsenti told Reuters on Wednesday.

“It’s a problem that we stopped the war and didn’t finish the job … There was a siren a few minutes ago, and I had to put my kids on the floor and lie on top of them because we don’t have a safe room in the house. We need to trust our army, but I think that after 7 October, that’s hard because there was no one there,” Moran Brustin, an Israeli settler from Kibbutz HaGoshrim near the Lebanese border, told reporters.

According to a poll published by Israel's Channel 13 news on Wednesday, 61 percent of Israelis agree that the army was not victorious against Hezbollah, with only 26 percent of respondents saying Tel Aviv “won.”

Al-Qaeda Attack On Aleppo Serves 'The Israeli Occupation Entity': Syrian FM

Militants from Al-Qaeda-affiliated Hayat Tahrir al-Sham reached Aleppo City on Friday on the third day of a lighting offensive coinciding with Israeli attacks on Syria's border crossings

Syrian Foreign Minister Bassam Sabbagh stated on 29 November that the ongoing terrorist offensive on Aleppo and its countryside comes "within the framework of serving the goals of the Israeli occupation entity and its sponsors."

At dawn on Wednesday, militants from the Al-Qaeda-affiliated Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in Syria's Idlib Governorate launched an offensive against Syrian Arab Army (SAA) positions in the western Aleppo countryside. Russian warplanes were dispatched to target the militants after the assault began.

The HTS militants launched the attack just as a ceasefire between Israel and Syria's ally in Lebanon, Hezbollah, went into effect after a 66-day war. Israeli warplanes bombed the Syria-Lebanon border immediately before the ceasefire was announced.

Foreign Minister Sabbagh pointed to Israel's role in sponsoring extremist groups such as HTS in Syria, noting that the Syrian government "has always warned of the obvious coincidence between the occupation's attacks on it and the attacks of terrorist groups in it."

In a call with his Syrian counterpart Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi expressed his country's continued support for the Syrian government, people, and army in fighting terrorism, protecting the region, and establishing security and stability.
