One of our whale members chatted with me yesterday and asked for my advice. So sad to see him losing $125K potential profit 😭

He told me he used his savings to invest last year and DCAed early this year. He bought GMT early like me and many of our members here so he got tons of profits there too 💰. Sadly, he was too diamond handed and didn't even take his initials or a bit of profit. 😭

Anyway, if you are in a similar situation like him, here are some tips that I hope can help you.

1. If you invested more than $5K on a coin and it went at least 2x, 3x or any X you like, pleaseee take at least 30% of your initial. Take more of your initial + a bit of profit at a higher price.
2. Always leave a decent moonbag for coins with lower MC (less than $200M MC) but have good tech plus low circulating+maximum supply.
3. If you are a swing trader like me, it's good to invest part of your swing trading profits to get a bigger moonbag. You'll technically get a bigger bag just by trading.
4. Do NOT go all in on one or a few coins. I still think having 20-30 altcoins is good.
5. Altcoin gems usually take a few months to pump hard. Make sure you know this. Investing in altcoin gems is a long-term game.
6. Try to hunt for newly launched and newly listed coins on exchanges. Binance launchpad and launchpad of other exchanges are good places to check at least a few times per month.
7. If you want to invest big on a specific coin, better NOT buy all at once. Analyze the chart and buy first using 30% to 50% of what you want to invest then DCA. It's much safer this way based on my experience.

He did NOT lose $125K though. I think he is still in profit but he could have had a lot more. His portfolio can still easily go up once BTC recovers. He just needs to hold OR buy more if he has more funds. 👍
