On January 13, ICE executed an arrest warrant to arrest an illegal alien with a final order of removal in the Park Ave. area of Minneapolis. ICE officers apprehended four illegal aliens.

As officers carried out their law enforcement duties, a significant crowd surrounded them and began impeding law enforcement operations— a federal crime. One agitator ignored multiple commands by an officer to move her vehicle away from the scene, she was arrested for obstruction. Another agitator assaulted an officer by jumping on his back. Six of these agitators were taken into custody for assaulting law enforcement.

It was a true honor to address the UK Parliament today as the first U.S. Speaker of the House to do so. As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our independence, I wanted to emphasize an important truth — that our shared heritage with Great Britain creates a deep bond between our two kindred nations, and that bond remains essential to the defense of liberty.

A renewal and continuation of the West means securing our borders, investing seriously in our national defenses, and maintaining the strategic strongholds that keep hostile regimes at bay. It also means restoring confidence in the principles of faith, family, freedom, and human dignity that set us apart and served as the foundations of the West.
