Leader of cult-like group linked to multiple killings arrested in Maryland.

The leader of the so-called "Zizians" - a cultlike group which is connected to a series of violent incidents across the country has been arrested in Allegany County, Maryland.

The California-based group is tied to six killings, including the shooting death of Border Patrol Agent David Maland who was killed during an exchange of gunfire in Vermont, 20-miles from the Canadian border.

The Zizians are primarily composed of transgender women who are vegans and express significant concern about artificial intelligence. The group's leader, Jack Lasota, established a network in California five years ago. Shortly after, their landlord was found stabbed multiple times and later shot to death.
