On February 27, 2025, Mexico conducted a massive extradition to the United States, transferring 29 drug traffickers, including notable figures like Rafael Caro Quintero, a key leader of the Guadalajara Cartel, and Miguel Ángel and Omar Treviño Morales, founders of Los Zetas, known as "Z-40" and "Z-42."
The operation, coordinated by Mexico’s Attorney General’s Office (FGR) and the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), was carried out under strict protocols respecting the detainees' rights and in response to a request from the U.S. Department of Justice.
This action reflects bilateral cooperation between the two nations while upholding their sovereignty. Among the extradited was also Antonio Oseguera Cervantes, linked to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
The individuals face charges in the U.S. for drug trafficking and, in Caro Quintero’s case, the 1985 murder of DEA agent Enrique Camarena.
The big question is, when will the United States indict corrupt politicians directly involved with the cartels.

Illegal immigrant from Columbia accused of raping a woman in her home in Springfield, Massachusetts while delivering her food through Uber Eats.
Roiber Andres Rodriguez Melendez, 21, allegedly posed as a female on the Uber Eats app.
When he arrived at her home, Melendez said he needed a four digit code to complete the delivery.
It was cold out and he didn’t speak English so the woman let him come into the home while they called Uber Eats support.
The woman phoned a friend to translate so the three parties could communicate.
Melendez then allegedly ended the call and forced the woman into the bathroom where he raped her.
The incident was captured on a camera inside the house.
