#BREAKING | 🇸🇾 — Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Announce Withdrawal From Areas West of Euphrates River

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), led by Commander Mazloum Abdi, have announced their decision to withdraw forces from current contact lines east of Aleppo at 7:00 AM tomorrow (Saturday, January 17, 2026). The forces will redeploy to positions east of the Euphrates River.
The move follows calls from friendly countries and mediators, described as a goodwill gesture to advance implementation of the March 10 agreement (2025) on integration and ceasefire.

Rioters stole a firearm from the vehicle. Kash Patel has reported that less than 24 hours later, the man that stole a rifle from an ICE vehicle has been arrested. The suspect, Raul Gutierrez, is a member of the Latin Kings gang and has a known violent history.
Kash Patel followed with the statement:
There will be more arrests. Again: any individual who attacks law enforcement or vandalizes federal property paid for by hardworking taxpayers will be found and arrested.
