❗️A group of Azerbaijanis violated the line of contact with Armenia

The Armenian Defense Ministry reports about an incident on the line of contact with Azerbaijan.

As the press service of the department notes, on April 28, at approximately 11:40, on the northeastern section of the state border of Armenia, in the defense sector of military unit N, from the Azerbaijani settlement of Alibeyli, breaking the line of contact, 8-10 people in civilian clothes crossed the interposition space, carrying pipes with a length of 30-40 m. The pipes were most likely intended to provide water supply to the nearest Azerbaijani stronghold.

Noticing the Armenian Armed Forces servicemen of the advance units ,people in civilian clothes left for Alibeyli, leaving the pipes in the interposition territory. The Armenian servicemen showed restraint and did not succumb to provocation. The enemy's work has been stopped.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will visit Yerevan and Baku in early May.

Statement by the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Artsakh on the 30th Anniversary of the Operation "Koltso" (Ring)

30 years ago, on April 30, 1991, the Azerbaijani authorities launched the operation "Koltso" (Ring), which can rightfully be called one of the bloodiest and most inhuman operations on the deportation of peoples from their historical lands.

The operation "Koltso" became yet another manifestation of Azerbaijan's genocidal policy and the continuation of a series of Armenian pogroms and ethnic cleansing committed in Sumgait, Baku, Kirovabad and other Armenian-populated cities and regions of Azerbaijan, as well as in the settlements of the Nagorno Karabakh Autonomous Region and Northern Artsakh in 1988-1991.

The operation "Koltso" transferred the Azerbaijan-Karabakh conflict to a military plane and led to the subsequent full-scale aggression of Azerbaijan against the Republic of Artsakh, which continues up today.
