⚡️The President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian sent a letter to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) President Peter Maurer, expecting the Committee’s support in the issue of the quick return of the prisoners of war and civilians held captive by Azerbaijan.
In his letter, President Sarkissian particularly emphasized that during and after the war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh with the active support and direct participation of Turkey, several hundred Armenian military servicemen and civilians who became captives suffer torture and mistreatment at the hands of Azerbaijan.

On April 29, Moscow hosted a meeting between the chiefs of the Armed Forces General Staff of Armenia and the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan and Brigadier General Valery Gerasimov.

As reported by the MoD press service on April 30, the delegation led by the chiefs of the General Staff took part in the meeting. A number of issues of military cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
