Changing from Kaspersky Total Security to Bitdefender Total Security or Family Pack
Hello. My Kaspersky Total Security license is about to expire, so I'll have to renew it. I have been using it for about 4 years and I'm loving it, never had a problem, and like the deepness of the configurations it provides me. But comparing prices with Bitdefender Total Security and Bitdefender Family Pack (it is 50% off here in Brazil), another antivirus that I know is really good, the difference is huge:KTS for 5 devices for 3 years is R$ 500 (BRL - Brazilian Real), what at a quote of 3.28 converts to about 152 USD.BTS for 5 devices for 3 years is R$ 210, or about $ 64 USD (the original price tag is R$ 420, or 128 USD).BTS for 10 devices for 3 years is R$ 240, or about $ 73 USD (the original price tag is R$ 480, or 146 USD).BFP for unlimited number of devices for 3 years is R$ 260, or about U$ 79 USD (the original price tag is R$ 520, or 159 USD).I really would like to continue with Kaspersky but, as shown, KTS for 5 devices is double the price of BFP, for "unlimited" devices. If I stick with Bitdefender I'll probably take BFP, since although I don't have so much devices to protect (now) the price difference is not so great from BTS for 5 or 10 devices (specially considering it is for three years). Only to confirm, BFP is exactly the same thing (or better) than BTS, with the only difference being the number of devices, right? What do you think, will I miss or lose anything migrating from Kaspersky to Bitdefender, especially with regard to protection? Is Kaspersky so much better to Bitdefender or we can say they are equivalent? Or would you recommend me another antivirus (with protection in mind but not forgetting the price question)?Since now, thanks a lot.
