My p2p camera isn't working with my new router! Please help!
Ok, so I have a p2p camera and the only thing not working is the ability to arm the motion detection!!I can view the camera, the messages, the settings. Literally the only thing wrong is arming it. This means I can't use my camera! I can't arm it, it won't record or send notifications upon motion detection. When I try to set it it just says failed to set.Does this have something to do with the manufacturers server side or something like that??Thanks for any help you can offer!!

Interview for a school project: Cyber Security related jobs
Hello. So my psychology teachers said that we need to interview people with our dream job, so we could get a better ideia what it really is. My dream job is something related to security, like PenTester and CSO. Before answering the questions please explicit the job and the country: * 1- What functions do you have in your profession? * 2- What training do you need? * 3-What are the professional exits of this profession? * 4- How is the job offer at the moment? * 5- On average, how much is the salary? * 6- What are the advantages and disadvantages? * 7- What personal characteristics do you need to be a good professional? * 8- What made you choose this profession? * 9- Do you regret choosing this profession? * 10- What advice can you give to a young man who wants to have your profession? Thanks!

Soon to be graduate looking to get ahead.
So I'm looking to graduate this year with a first class degree in computer science and I recently scored my first job as a junior penetration tester (totally stoked!!) and I was wondering what sort of studying and extra reading or exercises I could look into before I start so that I can make a good impression on my new employers. I have a solid understanding of systems development and very good ground in programming but less so much about actual penetration testing. I hope to practice with some boot2root challenges like on VulnHub and I'm in the process of reading "Hacking: the art of exploitation" working through the exercises too. What do you wish you did before starting your job to give you a head start?

Looking for resources/tradecraft on historical techniques from early social engineering hackers. (Confidence Men)
From 3 Card Monte, Ponzi, Change Raising, etc. I'm looking for a history or resource that would include as many as possible or the underlying philosophies.I work at an institution and while talented with technology, completely lack any sort of understanding behind the "criminal mindset."
