Soon to be graduate looking to get ahead.
So I'm looking to graduate this year with a first class degree in computer science and I recently scored my first job as a junior penetration tester (totally stoked!!) and I was wondering what sort of studying and extra reading or exercises I could look into before I start so that I can make a good impression on my new employers. I have a solid understanding of systems development and very good ground in programming but less so much about actual penetration testing. I hope to practice with some boot2root challenges like on VulnHub and I'm in the process of reading "Hacking: the art of exploitation" working through the exercises too. What do you wish you did before starting your job to give you a head start?

Webcam Security Software w/ cheap cloud storage?
Any solution that would allow free storage of 12+ hours of webcam footage to the cloud? I have a Logitech C920 Pro (USB connected) webcam and am very Tech savvy. Any software that supports free upload to cloud services? Please keep note that I am in college and can't afford fresh fruit, name brand deodorant or a personal security detail.. can't really afford any paid solutions ATM unless they are dirt cheap. Thanks in advance! Background: College student here. Just moved to a different dorm room that is on a ground floor. My expensive 3 monitor setup is in plain view of a high traffic walkway if I ever forget to close my 30 year old "blinds". Want access to any recording through the web if anyone decides to break in and snag the name brand deodorant I just got for Christmas. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

My PayPal and Origin were hacked... What now?
Okay, earlier today I decided to login to my Origin account to play some games. I was logged out randomly because my password was changed. I thought of it as a glitch, changed my password and kept playing. Then it happened a 2nd time an hour later then I decided to contact EA support. When that happened my username, password, phone number, name, and location were all changed, the location was changed to "Libyan Arab Jamahiriya" (Liberia). I thought nothing of it and thought it was just bad luck. Until a few hours ago when I was eating dinner I got a notification saying my PayPal email was changed, I was unable to contact support because I didn't know the phone number linked to it. I was able to enter my debit card info in and remove the card and add my phone number, then the password was changed again. I did "Forgot my Password" again and entered in my Phone Number and got a text with a code, after I was able to get in I closed the account, Unplugged the ethernet (no WiFi card by the way), Reset my PC, changed the email and password to every account that I could think of, What else should I do to protect myself from this happening? I forgot to mention the passwords were the same on both these accounts (very stupid, I know).Thank you in Advance. Also if this is breaking any rules, tell me and I will remove it.

Wifi Security Risks
With recent news regarding Wifi security risks, does it mean a risk to my phone if I have it turned on while using Wifi on a PC? I have an old desktop that I occasionally need to get online and there is nothing on there that I am worried about. So I usually don't bother tethering it. However, I'm concerned about Wifi being a security risk to my smartphone that it's coming from.
