BUILD A POSITIVE SELF IMAGE AND PROMOTE PERSONAL GROWTH


1) KNOW YOUR STRENGTHS AND PRESS INTO THEM

Max out whatever it is that you naturally do best.
What comes easy to you?
What do you get joy and energy from that others would consider laborious?

Get good at it, then get better. Your strength is the characteristic that makes you unique. It's the one thing that people come to you for, that you can always assist with. It's the quality that plays a huge part in defining your role in your social circle. Your major strengths are your potential to greatness.
THEY ARE ALSO THE ENTRYWAY INTO ANY AND EVERY HEALING PROCESS, PERIOD.

You're good at writing? Write more, broaden your vocabulary, perfect your grammar, read what others authored and present your work.

You're physically strong or well coordinated? Train, enter friendly competition, find people to work out with and set a new personal record.

PUSH YOURSELF. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE TO YOU PERSONALLY, AND HAVE FUN.
Strengthening strengths raises your energy levels across the board.


2) KNOW YOUR WEAKNESSES AND IMPROVE THEM

After finding your strength, it will be easier to accept your weak points while remaining determined, because you already know that you're really good at something. Having raised your energy across the board, your weaknesses enter into the twilight zone between conscious and unconscious mind, making them accessible.

WE ABSOLUTELY NEED TO ACCESS OUR WEAKNESSES.
If we keep neglecting them, they will keep us running in cycles.

What are your stumbling blocks? Be honest.
Like there is the ONE major asset, there is also the ONE major recurring cause of failure.
This can run very deep, so you may have to do some digging.

You'll find it if you observe the patterns that occur on the meta level behind every annoyance, frustration, every flop.

First, accept that there IS a pattern to EVERYTHING.
Discover correlating phenomena.
Then realize WHAT the pattern is.
Find the starting point of the unwanted chain reaction, including choices and actions that effect your non-success.

What are you occupying yourself with that's keeping you from doing what's necessary to succeed?

A PATTERN IS ONLY A PATTERN IF YOU REPEAT IT.
Integrate your shadows.



3) INTEGRATE STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

With time, whatever weakness you have, when raised out of the unconscious into the conscious realm, will grant you access to an entirely new and very different set of tools compared to what you normally use to function in everyday life.
FOR THIS YOU NEED A RELENTLESSLY OPEN MIND.

Reframe weaknesses (that which you don't like or don't naturally excel at) from "bad, undesirable" to just "unfamiliar" approaches.
It can feel quite strange, possibly even "incorrect" or alien, when you manage to leave your comfort zone and explore your new-found set of skills.

It is like dropping into the bottomless pit of unfamiliar ways of doing things.
Scary at first, then weird, then exciting, then fun, easy and maybe even relaxing.
Making the shift from unconscious incompetence to conscious competence, skillful means.

The new perspective gained will allow you to apply the skills you have in the realm of your major strength INNOVATIVELY. It's a process of synthesis, increasing your potency.

Your weakness will always be some kind of a wonky part of your personality, yet, it is the key that opens the potential to exert phenomenal influence, BECAUSE it often feels so foreign and wild.


Integrating strength will give you the courage to face your weakness, integrating weakness will provide you with new approaches to supercharge your strength while removing obstacles.

Got an issue? Hit a wall? Upset? Frustrated?

We know that we need not be reactionary. We know that we should act from a balanced mindset, level-headed, resting in compassionate wisdom at all times.

We may not want to be a burden. We may want to prove ourselves. We may want to seem stoic and unrattled by turmoil. We want to look strong, and ideally, be strong as well.

We see the need to be a good role model and would like to set an example.

Watch it.
Are you suppressing something?


Being a good role model includes being in tune with our emotions, values, concepts, environment, occupation, day-to-day activities and body.
It also includes asking for assistance when we need it, especially because it could significantly expedite our development, even if we ourselves or others might not deem assistance "necessary".



C O N T E X T U A L I Z E
Y O U R S E L F .


Make use of support structures.
They might offer access to resources you didn't know existed.
Use your social environment for feedback and advice.
They might see something you don't.

Talk to a friend.
Open up to a coach.
Ask a teacher.
Observe a competitor.
Get professional help if you can't solve a problem on your own.
Get feedback about your behaviour and thoughts.
Evaluate your position.

You lone wolfs in the back, I see you.
"Psh, I can do this on my own, nobody really understands me anyway. I know what I must do."
You too. Don't be an idiot.
Pride in your strength and intelligence at the wrong time will cost you.

And if you think you already know the solution to a problem that's bugging you, go ahead, implement the necessary steps AND consider that you're human and that you, like other humans, will evolve more efficiently if you cooperate with others.

We've heard it many times, and I'll say it again:
Organize.
Integrate yourself into an interdependent social structure.

But let me give that a twist:

Organize - to conextualize yourself socio-psychologically.
We know why it's important to meet and build physical infrastructure.
But are you fully leveraging the social bubble psychologically?

Are you aware that all of "You" is observed, reflected, adopted and fed right back to you by your group?

Are you aware of the cards in the psychological deck?
Do you catch which ones are being played on you? (Intentionally or not, doesn't matter.)

And if you're next level, which ones do you play? And do others notice what you're doing? How subtle can you get?

Some extras for you mental health and emotional wellbeing:


Do you have a genuine emotional bond with members of your social group?

Does your group know your flaws or are you still virtue signaling?

Are they pushing you to become more virtuous / skillful?

Are you able to express youself openly?

Do they provide constructive criticism?

Are they solution-oriented in their approach?

Do they question you every now and again?
